Herbert "Cowboy" Coward, who as the sadistic toothless man in John Boorman's Deliverance terrorized canoeists and audiences alike with the chilling line, "He got a real pretty mouth, ain't he?," has been killed in a car accident. He was 85.
Coward died Wednesday when the Nissan he was driving was struck by a pickup truck driven by a 16-year-old in Haywood County, North Carolina, North Carolina State Highway Patrol officials told WLOS-TV.

Every Hollywood movie about the south slanders the daylights out of southerners.
He knew him long before.
Apparently Cowboy couldn't read, either.
For some reason, I watch a lot of the simple horror films that are pumped out, you know, the ones where the city kids take the shortcut to the rock festival or to college or to vacation or whatever.
A standard horror that city kids face in horror movies are the rural people who usually belong to a Christian based horror cults which are satanic and need the young city people for human sacrifice, and for the truly backwoods people who are more gone than the merely rural, in other words the toothless misshapen inbreds, it is ‘Jesus’ radio, torture and cannibalism.
Thanks for the silly personal attack, but you don’t know about the hippies.
If you can find the old original copies of Mother Earth News you could learn something about them.
There weren’t many actual hippies, they were not the college kids and political activists of city life and politics.
I have seen a few of those. IMO, the ultra lib is terrified of rural people. That’s fine with me. They should be afraid. Rural people are extremely nice, but they don’t tolerate dumb libs much. :-)
“Coward; his girlfriend, Bertha Brooks; and two pets, a chihuahua and a squirrel, died at the scene, they said.”

A read that you and many others here would probably enjoy is A Walk Across America by Peter Jenkins.
Jenkins was a young man troubled by what he was seeing in his nation and decided to walk across it to see for himself what he would find among the people of America.

LOL, it is an interesting description.
The only incest I’ve seen is from the Left- John Phillips molesting his daughter MacKenzie, Joe Biden diddling his daughter Ashley, and Ilhan Omar marrying her brother.
Thanks! The thing that hits me funny is that most of those that hate us because of what they were taught find out they were lied to once they meet us.
“Every Hollywood movie about the south slanders the daylights out of southerners.”
And get the accents wrong. I appreciated Anson Mounts in “Hell on Wheels” because he is from Tennesse and got his Mississippi accent pretty much spot on.
I don’t think the scene was so much about homosexuality as it was about dominance. The local hillbilly imposing his dominance on the city slicker invading his domain. JMHO.
P.S my mother took me to see this movie when it came out.
There was dominance but only homosexual men have sex with other men, no matter what it is called.
When your group of buddies you hang with is yelling “let’s beat this guy up” or “let’s be really mean to this guy and torture him and destroy his stuff” and then one of them volunteers to get sexually excited and have gay sex with him, then watch out for that buddy.
Yup, the banjo boy on the bridge.
Who can ever forget, “ you got a pretty mouth” and “squeal like a pig “
It ain’t ever day they find outta towners to replace goats or pigs for sex.
Well, if that’s what keeps ‘em from moving here well.....🤷😁
The film that defined rural America to urban Americans.
He was illiterate, which didn’t do no harm to his Show Biz career.
Come to think of it, Jackie Stewart, the “Mod Scot,” is illiterate, too (severely dyslexic), and it didn’t hold him back much.
💯 They are like illegals. They won’t assimilate to the local culture and want to turn us into what they left.
Goats, pigs and their sisters and cousins
