Thanking God you both made out OK from your recent adventures. He was watching over you. Prayers for healing from your injuries.
I’ve been in situations that turned out way better than most believed they could have been. I’m thankful for those times of extra protection.
One of the many things President Trump said he will do is pare down fedgov employees by, iirc, 75%, eliminate many agencies and departments, keep the few that are necessary and merge some of them. Plus put many of the headquarters out of DC.

Right. Stalin's numerous, highly placed agents in the FDR administration, including "Assistant President" Harry Hopkins, senior Treasury official Harry Dexter White, Alger Hiss, and most likely the FLOTUS, saw to it that the USSR received most of everything, even at the expense of British and American forces.
According to Diana West in "American Betrayal," Hopkins shipped uranium and other materials to Stalin to get their atomic program moving, even before Hiroshima & Nagasaki.
This extreme Soviet infiltration is why I think FDR may still rank as the worst President in U.S. history, despite stiff competition from Xiden and LBJ.
And FDR's pre-Truman VP Henry Wallace never saw a "progressive" he didn't like.
I’ve never trusted Tyson stuff since I found out they were big Klintoon supporters, back in the 90’s. Never intentionally bought any of their stuff——and wouldn’t. You have to read the labels. Just now I’m writing a bitzh letter to Albertsons for cutting the quality on their cinnamon rolls. Stupid, stooped, stooped way to treat customers. I’ve been in bizness for six decades and my advice to the suits has always been: If you need to raise the price, raise the price——never cut the quality. Never screw with your customers.-——The list of companies who tried cutting quality, and failed, is nearly endless.

From https://www.usmarshals.gov/who-we-are
“The mission of the U.S. Marshals is to enforce federal laws and provide support to virtually all elements of the federal justice system by providing for the security of federal court facilities and the safety of judges and other court personnel; apprehending criminals; exercising custody of federal prisoners and providing for their security and transportation to correctional facilities; executing federal court orders; seizing assets gained by illegal means and providing for the custody, management, and disposal of forfeited assets; assuring the safety of endangered government witnesses and their families; and collecting and disbursing funds.”
Trimming down the Fedz? Up thru the 90’s I frequently heard about the “allowance” that each rep and senator gets. They called it “patronage” sometimes. It is/was an unwritten rule that allowed each representative a one million dollar spending allowance, un-challenged. Senators got two million un-challenged. Presumably they would spend it in their districts but that was not a rule and it had to result in a lot of vote buying.
I haven’t heard anyone mention that “spending allowance” in recent times but Fed spending will NEVER be rolled back unless that policy can be cut off, banned, and otherwise killed dead.
I arrived to the thread late...happy you are doing well — laughter IS the best medicine!

Well reasoned. ThankQ.
We buy the 10lb bags of chicken quarters that Walmart sells super inexpensively. Now I have to wonder if they are getting their chickens coming from Tyson, or maybe Tyson will just add the insects to more processed chicken products.....Hmmm...
Yes, I do think they were involved in some scandals with them back then. Now that they just openly admit it, it makes me think maybe they have actually been adding poison for longer than most people suspected..

We buy those too (our dog eats raw). It’s only going to be in their processed crap that we don’t eat anyway.

That’s good to know, SB. (until they figure out how to coat the whole chickens with this crap like Bill Gates has done with his Apeel poison on fruits and vegetables)......
Mrs. K
You provided the acronym so that was the finishing piece.
And...now that moslems bombed or whatever it was the place in TX, we’ll see if more similar attacks are going to happen.
