The Atlantic…that liberal rag never has an agenda. See? See? A woman has Y chromosomes! Gender is fluid!

“””Bianchi saw the unmistakable glimmer of Y chromosomes—dozens and dozens of them. “Clearly,” Bianchi told me, “part of her thyroid was entirely male.””””

OMG!!!! We are all multi-sexual humans. If the Atlantic says so it has to be true!!!!

So Mom has her son’s Y chromosome, which he got from his Dad. It’s that heterosexual intercourse thingy, man...ain’t natural... I mean, it’s almost as if two people coupling to have children have made some sort of permanent connection or something.

I wonder if this fresh genes contribute to women outlining men...? This certainly can be studied easily with existing statistics.

Thanks for posting a fascinating read. (even for The Atlantic). Reading it reinforces how God works in mysterious ways.

I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.

Psalm 139:14

My daughter has 3 sons, and really wanted a daughter. When she was pregnant with her 4th child, she did a genetic test that was supposed to show the sex of the fetus (out of curiosity; she had no thought of terminating her pregnancy whatsoever!). She was disappointed but resigned to raise another boy when the test results indicated male. She was ecstatic when the ultrasound revealed her daughter. She was told the false test results reflected the fact she had carried her 3 sons.

Chimerism is probably much more common than most people think. It could result from pregnancy but also from absorption of a twin in utero. There are possibly other causes. It could explain cases of homosexuality and transsexuality.

I’ve known about this for some time. I don’t see it as The Atlantic promoting transgender stuff. I do see it as something that every pregnant woman should know and celebrate. Every pregnant woman including the ones who kill their child in utero needs to know this. The other thing that hit me a few years ago - Mary, the mother of Jesus, had His cells in her body. Meditate on that.

I think it’s rather wonderful, that I carry my mother’s cells within me, and the cells of all my children.

I can’t feel them, but they are there, and maybe I am changed by them, the way transplant recipients are sometimes changed.

A colony of many, eight trace padsengers.

I wonder if grandmother cells ever make the trip, from mother to daughter to child.
