The Virginia socialite mom snared in an FBI sting for allegedly planning a horrific assault on an eight-year-old girl – has made another bid for freedom, DailyMail.com can exclusively reveal.
Eleanor Hunton Hoppe has again asked for pre-trial release from the Central Detention Facility in Washington DC where she has been held since her dramatic arrest at a hotel in March.
Weeks ago in November, DailyMail.com learned that the 45-year-old had been considering a plea deal by the government, but we can also reveal that the offer may now be off the table.
Hoppe – who is the ex-wife of a federal judge – filed a motion to be freed on December 9 saying she was 'not particularly dangerous' and wants to be allowed to live with an aunt while proceedings continue.
It is the second time the mom-of-two has attempted to be sprung from incarceration over the case in which she's accused of driving to meet a man she believed would bring his young daughter so they could abuse her together.
Her first attempt was in April when she tried to convince a judge she was an 'upstanding citizen' – and deserved freedom because she was a University of Virginia graduate and had worked at a law firm.
But the judge threw out the plea, saying the 'weight of evidence is strong' and she is 'a grave danger to the community'.
This time Hoppe's bid is revealed in a motion to the United States District Court for the District of Columbia on December 12 in which the government asks for details of her medical treatment.
The mom – a member of one of the most prestigious legal families in Richmond – told the court in her first release attempt that she suffers serious conditions, including multiple sclerosis.

It’s why the whole of the DC governing core acts so strange and illogical with the strangest laws and regulations being enacted that are endangering our republic. People are being blackmailed for being perverts or threatened with their lives if they dare try to expose what is going on. This Lady seems to have no leverage or doesn’t have any real friends in high places. We are ripe for judgment and even innocents will suffer. The dam has begum breaking or leaking in many areas and good people are going to have to decide what they can ultimately allow and live with in this nation. These evil people can’t stop themselves...they are reprobate and will need to be externally restrained and mass imprisoned if not executed.
Reprobate people have no ability to govern rationally and morally. They cannot be allowed anywhere near levers of power! That is where the ‘good” people in this nation have failed. The first public bleatings decades ago of why men should be allowed to have sex with and marry men should have been stomped on hard! Now mass media, lefty shrinks and crackpot legal people and judges are trying to sneak pedophilia and child sexual abuse into the realm of ‘acceptable behavior”. It all must be stomped down and hard as well as those groups who may try to rise up against those who are trying to stamp the immorality down. They are the problem too!

Yeah I guess they probably had to look into the poor Judge “just to make sure”. That must have been horrible to go through that!

When this first came out I read a long article about her and she is one depraved & sick person. I feel sorry for her kids knowing their mother is such a repulsive & evil person.

However, in this case, the child was fictitious and the man she was chatting with was an undercover FBI Task Force agent.

Then change the law, make bad medical care part of the sentence, hell, even make getting raped part of the sentence if that is what you want.
The docs and NPs who do this work are functioning under conditions that make it impossible for them to deliver good care - and it’s one reason that they can’t get enough people to do it.

Look, child sex abuse should carry the death penalty as far as I'm concerned. But bad medicine isn't in the law as part of the sentence.

I didn’t look to see who appointed him but I’ll reckon he judges like a regular liberal but I’ll give the benefit of the doubt on the “sexual predator stuff”.
