Fox News audio and sports reporter Matt Napolitano has died at the age of 33 after a long battle with an autoimmune disease.
Napolitano died from an infection, his husband, Ricky Whitcomb announced on social media.
“With a heavy heart I have to share that my husband @MattNapolitano passed away yesterday morning. He loved his job and he loved bringing the news to your radios and televisions.”
“An honest journalist who truly cared about facts. You can thank him for the last minute Jets win today.”
Napolitano worked as a writer for the SiriusXM channel Fox News Headlines 24/7 and also as an anchor and reporter on various shows on the network.
During his time at Fox, Napolitano worked on “Cavuto Coast to Coast” on Fox Business Network and also produced content for the Fox News Edge service,
Fox News CEO Suzanne Scott expressed her condolences in a memo to employees:
“Matt did everything from anchoring to writing and producing for our audio platforms and loved being able to work in the journalism field that he trained for his entire life.”
Scott also praised Napolitano for his strong work ethic and commitment.
CBD News reported that Napolitano worked as an anchor and reporter, writing and producing segments for all Fox News audio platforms.
He contributed sports-related coverage for Fox Business Network’s “Cavuto: Coast to Coast” weekday series anchored by Neil Cavuto.
He also did voice work for the Fox News Edge service, which delivers news coverage and content packages to Fox affiliate stations around the country.
Variety reported: Outside of work, Napolitano was an avid fan of “Jeopardy.” He was a contestant in 2020 on the syndicated game show, achieving a long-held dream after engaging in a methodical process of applying to be chosen for the show that began when he was a teenager. He also appeared as a contestant on “Wheel of Fortune” in 2016, making it to the bonus round on that game show.

AIDS is ‘rare’ and kills it’s recipients ‘suddenly’.
I’ll lay this death at the feet of the MSM for pushing this putrid lifestyle.
Indeed, he died as a result of HIV.

“Secondly AIDS is no longer considered a killer disease, just a chronic condition as long as people are taking their meds.”
I hope, for their sake, that you are right. It’s been argued that the Covid vaccine messes up your immune system. I’d think that that would be especially hard on someone with AIDs.
“stick together”
Sounds like a sticky wicket.
There’s a reason why for most of human history entertainers were considered to be the lowest rung of society.
Maybe we should get back to that.
His husband...
In “How to Lose Friends and Alienate People,” a journalist (played by Simon Pegg) interviews a musical comedy star (played by Nathan Lane) and gets in trouble for asking him “Are you gay?” and “Are you Jewish?” Simon’s boss tells him, “From now on, just assume everybody is gay and everybody is Jewish.” Good advice nowadays.
Pegg does the best movies, Hot Fuzz was one of the funniest movies I’ve seen in years.
What is Fox News?
