One of the first things workers at a Florida animal shelter noticed when a woman came in with her cats for spay and neutering — aside from the fact there were 22 of them — was the “overwhelming” smell of urine, one of the employees said. The cats weren’t in the best condition. They had fleas, missing fur, green discharge coming from their eyes and noses and “lots of wounds from fighting,” SPCA Florida’s public media director Randa Richter said in a Dec. 22 news conference held by the Polk County Sheriff’s Office.

But the shelter became even more worried when the woman told them the other cats in her mobile home in Frostproof were in “way worse condition,” she said. The shelter immediately reached out to Polk County Animal Control and the Polk County Sheriff’s Office, who went to conduct a welfare check at the woman’s home, Sheriff Grady Judd said at the Dec. 22 news conference. The intense scent of ammonia wafted outside the home and could be smelled from the fence by the road, he said. When deputies went inside, they found exactly what they were suspicious of: animal hoarding, Judd said.
One of the more experienced investigators said it was in the top three worst animal hoarding cases he had seen, according to the sheriff, calling it an “unbelievable situation.” “Words can’t adequately describe it,” Judd said in the news conference. There were 309 animals in total living at the woman’s mobile home — 164 fowl, including chickens, ducks, geese and a peacock, 142 cats and three dogs, according to the sheriff’s office. Most of the cats were walking around inside, Judd said. “Did you hear what I said?” Judd said. “You can’t make this stuff up.”

Mentally ill, obviously.
Those “teachers’ unions” can drive you nuts in no time.
They tell me that home schooling is bad because the kids miss out on the wonderful socialization of government schools. This teacher is one of the people in charge of the socialization.
She had been living around this heavy, funky odor for so long, that she couldn’t smell the reeking anymore. She had lived surrounded by sick, neglected and damaged animals for so long, she couldn’t see much damage.
Oh, and her 75 year old, chronically ill mother was ‘living’ there too.
The teacher is not even 50 years old yet, but she is either stuck in a state of depression, or otherwise in dire need of psychiatric assistance.
Chickens and ducks will voluntarily live with cats?
Mine do. My cat and chickens get along very well.............
I bet the stench would take your breath away! I have cats but they are neutered and they do not stink as I keep their litter boxes very clean.
Some of these cats look sick.
And this mentally distrurbed person was teaching your children.
our neighbor held a position high up in a hospital and would travel all over the country giving lectures and such- The house she lived in was truly horrific- and that is no exaggeration- When she died, we bought the home and land, and had to tear down the home- it was so rank, foul and disgusting that it is unbelievable a person could live like that- There were dead rats in rooms, a dead cat under some linoleum she had put down in the bathroom to cover up the cat urine, poop, dog messes etc- the living room had several layers of carpet covering up old poop- there wasn’t a room in the house that was clean- everything was filthy floor to ceiling-
It stunk so bad it make a person gag going in there- She never allowed people to go inside her home when she was alive- A few times we had to give her a ride somewhere, and the combination of filth stench and perfume was sickening-
I have no idea how she held her job at the hospital, or how people stood the smell-
The dogs never went outside- they just crapped in the home, and she was fine with it i guess-
142 cats in a mobile home? The mind boggles.
Good grief, what did she do, stack ‘em three deep?
It is a mental illness..............
teacher, a Woman’s something or other studies teacher... right?
What’s her mailing address #7 EIEIO Rd.
And she knows each of their names and she voted for Biden.
Is this a typical teacher or a typical woman?.... 😸
