I wonder if she has ever made Mama Kelce’s dinner rolls. It seems people have figured out what they are after the kelce’s raved about them. I have never heard of this even though it comes from the 60s from Pillsbury.
Someone adapted them to Empty Tomb Rolls for Easter

“There is a top pastry chef award. It is called the World Confectioner.”
“YAWN. No one cares.”
“They’ve been handing out this award for 92 years.”
“Totally boring. I don’t want to hear about. Wake me up when a woman wins.”
“A woman just won.”
“ATTENTION EVERYONE! I HAVE EXCITING NEWS! FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER, PERHAPS THE MOST IMPORTANT AND PRESTIGIOUS AWARD IN THE WORLD HAS BEEN WON BY A WOMAN!”
To: ClearCase_guy
Ya. Think they mandated a woman win this year?
Likely.

Well said. I was watching top chef or one of those cooking shows. One contestant pulls the “I’m the first black female to win X award.”
Turned off show.

My 23-y.o. great niece is a pastry chef and already has been recognized by Bon Appetit magazine. I don’t know what awards are in her future, if any.
