A “shrewd and devious” Long Island couple failed to pay their mortgage for at least 14 years, dragged out their foreclosure for more than a decade, and refused to leave after a new family bought the house from the bank, court records show.
To make matters worse, one of the alleged interlopers was caught on video telling the legal owner to “go back to Pakistan.”
The frustrated owners of the Jericho home claim they’ve shelled out $85,000 and counting to keep up with taxes, mortgage payments, and other bills, while alleged squatters Barry J. Pollack and his wife, Barbara, live in their house and keep a Mercedes in the driveway.

Election law need to be changed, and criminalized for behavior like this.
How did the new owners get clear title?
Just wait until they’re inside and then you and a handful of friends simultaneously break windows and toss in flea bombs.
When people call the police on these squatters, they are told it is a civil matter. No. It is theft, pure and simple! These thieves spread the method for stealing property from person to person and the true owner ends up losing thousands or sometimes millions of dollars depending on the property. State AGs and the DOJ should be filing RICO and conspiracy charges against these cretins, instead of going after our true President, alternate electors, parents, and churches.
I read stories like this. I see illegal aliens walk across the border and get a free ride. I see entire generations living for free with all their needs paid for by someone else. And then I look at my life, all the work I’ve done, all the taxes I paid, and the government shuts my business down for the kung flu and I ask myself, “WTF am I doing working? Quit, go on welfare, and milk the system like all these leeches.”
Flea bombs.
They didn't. Most title policies do not insure against rights of unknown parties living on the property, just what is in the recorded chain of title. If a buyer is on notice that someone is living there he really ought to find out why before closing the sale.
They paid $762,200 for a foreclosed house with squatters living in it. They must have thought they were getting a heck of a deal.

More importantly - why buy a house sight unseen?!
I would merely invite a large group of friends to come over and visit for a few beers. Like 40 or 50 of them.
It pays to have friends in low places, especially when they owe you many favors.
There’s got to be more to this story. They say multple bankruptcies but you can only file bankruptcy once every 10 years. And there’s just so many hardship extensions a judge will give. I mean in a state like NY I can see them delaying an eviction for up to a year but 14 yrs? The owners should have found themselves a competent lawyer from the get go.
I’ve never had a problem removing tennants who wouldn’t move out. I just brought in the remodeling crew to start construction.
Doors were locked, no problem, we just removed all the window sash and took them to the shop for repair. Parked the dump truck in the driveway and started demolition. Kitchen cabinets were first, then bathroom fixtures.
They moved real fast.
This is just another real reason why the Forefathers gave us the Second Amendment.
I had a friend who owned houses for recovering addicts. Only one rule: Don’t start using again.
If you started using, he had a foolproof method to get them to move out immediately.
Just offer them 50 bucks.
The Mafia could solve problems like this with no property damage, permanently, and without firing a shot. Compound fractures leave a very lasting impression.
Looks like the mods pulled it. I have no concerns about libel - there was none.
Mercedes in the driveway huh? 🙄🙄😒 What a joke.
= = =
Mercedes? That’s German - They are NAZIs!
You can file as many as you can afford filing fees. The creditors can get them dismissed, but that takes time and you have to hire local counsel in the various cities where they sequentially file. If a case is dismissed and the debtor files another within a year, in most cases the automatic stay in the second case is shortened to 30 days. See 11 USC Sec 362 (c)(2).
There are also the so called "Chapter 20" filings.
I have paid people to leave.
It puts you in a bind when the new landlord calls for a reference and you know that you won’t get rid of them if you give a reference.
I follow the policy that if you don’t say anything good, don’t say anything.
I’m lost - have the original owners continued to pay the mortgage while the squatters occupy the property? I wouldn’t. I’d ask for my personal property/files etc., and let them have it.
