Rumours of Vladimir Putin's 'ill health' have been swirling for years, with recent sources claiming the Russian President has died and his corpse is being stored in a freezer 'used for deep-frozen food'.
Russian President Vladimir Putin is holding his first major news conference today, since launching a full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February last year.
At the annual event (which didn't happen last year), he has claimed that peace with Ukraine will only occur "when we achieve our objectives".

Speculation has mounted online for years about the Russian President's 'ill health', with claims he is allegedly suffering from terminal cancer, Parkinson's disease and other ailments.
In October, a controversial Telegram channel alleged Putin suffered a cardiac arrest and was reportedly found by security convulsing in his private bedroom - a claim the Kremlin was forced to strongly deny.
Then rumours swirled again when drastic reports claimed the dictator had died and his "corpse was placed in a freezer, which previously contained deep-frozen food". Once again, the Kremlin released a statement to insist he was alive and said: "We have only one Putin."
In October, there was claims the body of Putin had allegedly been stored in a freezer following rumours of his death, according to a Telegram channel which regularly alleges Putin is terminally ill with cancer. The channel alleged: "Putin's corpse was placed in a freezer, which previously contained deep-frozen food, at the presidential residence in Valdai."
It further claimed that senior aides were preparing a body double to take over as the president, so he could rule without question. However, the Krelim disputed the rumours and branded them 'absurd'.

If pooty is dead then Ukraine is really f***ed.
Or Al Leong.
This needs to stop - especially after a 4+ hour open press conference.
I only know one person on this side of the world who could last 4 hours for a press conference
... and that would be #45 - and even that’s a maybe.
The Ukebots have no idea what you are talking about. That’s the level of awareness
Tsar Putin stronk as bull!
“4+ hour open press conference”
All this proves is that there have been major advances in cloning technology.
We have a national emergency—a clone gap.
They can clone a Putin and all we get is a babbling senile clown.
;-)
This explains his live 4 hour press conference yesterday, with Western media allowed to participate.
This garbage sums up your “contributions” on FR on the Ukraine.
Answer: No. He’s not.
Here’s how you will know when Putin dies:
Russian TV and Radio will suddenly start playing somber and patriotic music.
Regularly scheduled programs will be preempted with scenes of military parades and cheering crowds.
The newspapers will stop the presses and start a special edition scenario.
The nuclear forces will be put on high alert...................
Industrial Light and Magic, Google et al could make a virtual Putin today that would fool any online press conference. But I think he’s still around cuz the day he falls, there would be a solemn group of old generals giving the press conference and a state funeral to gin up patriotic support, IMHO
Give me Dawn Wells any day.
“Can’t they make a better model, say one like Tina Louise in “The Stepford Wives”?”
Kind of random, but I have the original script for the most recent version of Stepford Wives. It was to be a much better movie than the usual feminist nonsense.
Basically, a loving brilliant doctor has a wife (also a brilliant doctor) who suffers from horrible depression, schizophrenia, and bi-polar disorder that appeared in her late 20s. She, too, is brilliant.
They devise an implant to control the misfiring in her brain so she can live a happy, productive, life. It works. SHE improves on the device to get rid of destructive habits, make her want to work out, up her libido, be nice to her kids, etc.
Works great. She loses a ton of weight, stops drugs, no longer snaps at the children, etc. and attracts investors who take control of marketing against the original two inventors’ wishes.
Women VOLUNTEER for the device, some against their husband’s wishes (some pressured), who love them “as they are”.
Well, it then goes off the rails, mainly due to the device being designed for her damaged brain, some homicidal, some more innocuous but destructive to the family unit, some good.
It was a more relevant parable about the abusive prescription drug industry and women’s choices for themselves, instead of the usual feminist pablum.
A large, leftist, investment fund with huge connection to the usual-suspect drug companies saw to it that the script was changed.
/tangent off
I think it was a body double. He looked way too healthy.
Claiming Putin is dead or dying has become a joke at this point. And what difference does it make? If Putin dies his replacement would be unlikely to change Russia’s foreign policy to any great degree. And some of the possible replacements mentioned are more hardline toward the West than Putin himself is. So I don’t understand the point of them continuing to push this bogus rumor.
“This garbage sums up your “contributions” on FR on the Ukraine.”
He’s dead to me.
Putin is not dead.
You don’t put a stand-in into a four hour press conference.
I explained “the point” in post 18.
:-)
You a freepin' IDIOT and so is anyone that write or believes this.
It's ridiculous this nonsense is allowed here. These kind of absurd conspiracies discredit the site. They are as bad as Alex Jones' Sandy Hook conspiracies or the 9/11 conspiracy.
You're a joke, Marcus, and sorry excuse of a human being.
