On Nov. 20, 2023, a U.S. Navy P-8A Poseidon maritime patrol aircraft 169561 YD-561, belonging to the VP-4 “Skinny Dragons” based at Naval Air Station Whidbey Island, Washington, ended in water after overshooting the runway during landing at Marine Corps Air Station Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii.
The crew, safely evacuated the aircraft after the mishap without immediate injuries....

She’s had about 2 wins in her entire career.

And of course the death of Gus Grissom and 2 others………women’s fault. / s
……
The problem is not female pilots...the problem is double standards in training and political pressure to pass women through the training pipeline. This is what killed Kara Hultgreen BTW.
Check out what Lia Block has been doing.
AND...don’t count on the Navy to find and release the cause of the crash anytime soon.
Bullcrap. If there was a male in the cockpit, they would have subtley released his name already just to shut down the speculation.
And the example of the E-3 crash is -completely- different. That was an aborted takeoff for a perceived emergency, almost certain to result in an excursion off the end of the runway... but one that would likely allow everyone to survive.
That is a totally different accident than screwing up a landing, and then after you’ve done so, not executing a normal go around or even touch and go.
The woman crew screwed this up.
Cool! Lia Block may be the next big thing.
They seem to believe that the men who do those jobs get to do them because they are men, and the ONLY reason they don’t get to it is because they are women.
In Navy patrol planes? There have been a -very- few lost with mechanical failures, and some doing dangerous work in operational capacities...etc. But none that simply missed the runway.
This is an unqualified female problem.
Yeah, women don’t get into accidents, they leave them in their wake.
One.. and despite the PR, she was a failure.

Baseball BMK.
And in Nascar she crashed more than anyone else during her career.
If this was a fighter jet performing high-g maneuvers, I'd agree that females are less capable and probably higher risk. But the P-8 is a militarized Boeing 737-800, not a fighter jet. In general aviation, female pilots actually have a lower crash rate than men.
What a bizarre non-sequitur.
Women can take greater g forces than men.
The ability to sustain higher g forces helps fighters pilots to out turn enemy pilots.
Make if it what you will....
It crashed because of woke, that is the reason.
Can’t hurt feelings, correct bad behaviors, or put people under stress in training because it makes them uncomfortable, so stress situation pops up and it’s tiktok/Instagram time.
Data needed for judgement.
1. Touchdown point, this one is a biggie.
2. Wind direction and speed
3. Approach speed and speed at touchdown
4. Runway conditions
5. Mechanical failures if any
6. Were they flying an instrument approach or visual?
7. Was the pilot executing the approach being properly monitored by the second pilot during the approach?
8. Voice recorder of what was being said or “not said” during the entire landing sequence.
The Air Force has all eight above. They know what happened but we do not. In my opinion the pilots screwed up. The fact they are female is irrelevant. Males run off the end of the runway also. I have known many excellent female pilots.
In that incident, the almost head-on is a big deal, but dragging the tail on that plane is not, IF, the pilot has been signed off to fly taildraggers by a certified flight instructor. So there!
That’s two more than Asian men.
No need for an AF, no Chinese male has ever won a car race of note.
