Lots more dropped passes which are frankly boring. But also lots more fumbles and interceptions which are exciting.
*** thankfully it’s all over next year***
I think this is something we can all agree on. The national champion in college football has been a political/ popularity contest for years.
Bama is for football for ESPN as Duke is for basketball. The network makes sure they’re protected.
yep
The bowl game lineups are starting to be announced.
The Orange Bowl should be a fun match up. Georgia vs. FSU.

The NFL has had the same problem in the past. They eventually introduced wild card teams to get around the injustice of having teams with 10 or 11 wins in strong divisions miss the playoffs, while teams with 9 wins in weak divisions would make the cut.
You're going to have a lot of Georgia fans complaining that the 'Dawgs were surely one of the top 4 teams in the country.
P.S. -- I'm a Georgia fan but I don't agree with that. If you aren't the champion of your own conference you should be ineligible for the playoffs.
Opening Line favors Michigan... by 2 points
Texas is 4.5 point favorite over Wash

Sorry, I posted and didn’t read replies to the thread until afterward!
If I were Florida State, I would sue the NCAA and the FSB. The team won a power 5 conference and was undefeated. They make a mockery of adding Bama and stiffing the Seminoles. I just want to puke thinking that Alabama is in the finals after losing a game, over an undefeated team.
Thanks for admitting that college ball is nothing more than beauty pageant faggotry.
I believe you should be rewarded for the entire body of work over the course of the season, not just based on who is the best team at the end of the season.
Plus, just last week, Bama barely survived Auburn.
As I said, the SEC wasn’t all that this season.
FSU might have gotten slaughtered in the Semi-Final, but they still deserved their shot.
But Geld Uber Alles!
They won by 3 points... That is not handily.
Travis will be ready by the bowl games. The committee just picked and proved that it is not winning that counts, but MO NAY$$$$$$$
The moment of truth in the Alabama game and the Georgia game was the failed review iof the catch in the late second quarter in which there was indisputable video evidence of ribbing incomplete. Great shot from the side judge’s angle. Next play — touch down. At least a seven if not 10 point swing toward Alabama.
The officiating in the SEC championship was less than putrid.
Worst of all, I actually have to defend the Seminoles.
That’s how funked up this is.
The problem is the weenies who signed off on a 4 team playoff when there are 5 power conferences.
What if all the Conf champs were undefeated?
Somebody gets left out.
There should be at least some wild card games.
I think FSU, Georgia, Oregon and Ohio St could all win.
For decades college football fans screamed for a playoff system and when we finally get one it’s a disaster.
More like figure skating.
