Former President Donald Trump mocked Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis' debate against California Gov. Gavin Newsom, dubbing it the 'Battle of Loserville,' as DeSantisworld sources say the governor's 2024 campaign is running out of steam.

After midnight on Truth Social Friday, Trump shared a dubbed 'Battle of Loserville' video, with moderator Sean Hannity asking DeSantis, 'Have you ever betrayed the greatest president who ever lived, President Donald J. Trump.'

Senior campaign aides are feeling gloomy about their chances in the upcoming primary, which kicks off with the Iowa caucuses on January 15.

'People increasingly think it's over,' a person close to DeSantis told The Post. 'It's a dumpster fire.'

I'm a Tump supporter, and campaigned for him but I agree, Biden kicked his butt and Trump turned off independent women with his attitude-it was rough going door to door after that debate. Trump hopefully paid attention to how DeSantis stock, fo the most part, to facts. Even on left sights it has DeSantis winning almost 2 to 1

Typical juvenile Trump behavior . I’m so tired of Trump. He gave us Fauci and an inflated debt. When are we going to come to our senses and elect a nondemagog like DeSantis or Haley?

Yeah, the Wine Aunts will “vote” for the destruction of the country because of the “mean tweets”. DeSantis and Nikki Birdbrain have no chance either.

“People are sick of seeing and hearing Trump.”

Really? People have had almost no opportunity to see or hear Trump for over three years, other than to see bad pictures of him in news stories about the various bogus prosecutions against him.

And when they get an opportunity to see him, they turn out in the thousands, every single time.

The only ones tired of seeing and hearing Trump are the leftists and NeverTrump thumb-suckers.

“He didn’t do much to help himself with his behavior, comments, and tweets during the last term.”

Ah, so in addition to being a DeSantis boy, you’re also a “his mean tweets are… mean!” weak-kneed loser. One of the “we’re above that” republicans, like Mitt Romney.

Yeah, Trump should just sit back and get bitch-slapped by the leftists, and take it like a good little spineless, gutless, typical Republican loser.

You have zero understanding of Trump, and why so many people support him.

Ummmm - it’s anti-MAGA “republicans” that are attacking him instead of the crooked DOJ...how short the memories that the primary fights are just as dirty as the actual election....

But, we have boneheads trying to do the Dems’ job for them....

“I’m so tired of Trump. He gave us Fauci and an inflated debt.”

The Deep State gave us Fauci (he was in the government for 40 years - it isn’t as if Trump hired him), and “COVID” and all of the bullsh*t “relief” (a.k.a. printing $9 trillion of baseless currency) gave us inflated debt and ridiculous inflation.

“it was rough going door to door after that debate”

Before those 2020 debates, I had some hope Trump could still prevail. After those debates, no more hope.

I knew a good number of Rs who were turned off by how Trump comported himself and lost a lot of their interest in the contest.

I believe you’re going to learn the hard way. Or maybe you’re one of those that never learn?

If Trump couldn’t stop the steal as president, there’s nothing he can do now. Doing the same thing over and over doesn’t work — see Ronna.

Get back to me after the 2024 elections.

Politics is supposed to be messy and always has been. You’re exactly right about Primary season. That’s when we can all get behind who we think is the purest candidate, the one that best reflects our personal values.

For the general election, that’s all over and you get behind the candidate whether you like him or not. It’s always important but this year, it’s absolutely critical for the future of our Republic.

We just had a pointless debate between DeSantis and Newsome"

Why would a 4th place Republican primary candidate, debate a ,not even declared in the presidential race, Democrat?

It doesn't make sense, unless it is viewed as a Uni-party, illusion of choice, move.

Desanctimonious, the deep state approved candidate, "debates" Newsolini, which shows the real level of cooperation between the Democrat criminal enterprise, and their accomplice RINOs.

The government is almost entirely corrupt.

Donald Trump is the only candidate who can save this country. Those who would destroy our nation are fully aware of this. That is why they have gone to such BIZARRE lengths to stop him. People need to wake up.

God bless Donald Trump, and his entire family, for enduring the constant attacks of the enemies of America. Pray for President Trump and his family. 🙏

“If Trump couldn’t stop the steal as president…”

So, you believe that Ron DeSantis CAN stop the steal?

Interesting that you talk about the steal, but don’t seem to have much to say with respect to Trump’s policies. Do you remember when Trump was president? Apart from the constant snark and sniping from the media, the leftists, and most of the republican’ts, and the endless bogus investigations, Trump oversaw a good economy (which included the highest levels of employment among minorities ever recorded), energy independence, and no new foreign wars. He also moved the US Embassy in Israel to Jerusalem, something several previous presidents promised to do, but never did.

If you’re argument against Trump is that he couldn’t stop the steal, or that he didn’t accomplish everything he wanted to (because he had even his own party fighting against him), then you fail to grasp where we are and what is at stake.

I think Trump is someone who learns from his mistakes. I think a lot of people know this, which is one of the many reasons they support him. And everyone who watched in horror as an election was obviously stolen, as an imposter president was sworn in, as innocent, patriotic Americans were set up and then viciously persecuted by the government over J6, as the economy was wrecked and the military weakened, believes that if they can get Trump back in the White House, there still might be some hope left, that there might still be a chance to stop the leftists.

And those same people, and there are probably more than 80 million of them, are equally certain that there is no other viable option. DeSantis, Haley, Ramaswamy… None of them would make any damned difference.

Better than Trump.

(1) No one motivates democrats like Trump. They will go all out to make sure he is never elected again. They think he’s obnoxious, rude, and a bully.

(2) Trump placed Ronna. Ronna is a 3x loser. Lee Zeldin and others have talked about the Republicans lack of a ground game. No push for mail in ballots or anything. Two far more qualified candidates for RNC chair but Trump knew she would be in his corner. She’s the least qualified party chair in our lifetimes. She has a bachelors degree in English from BYU. Horrible selection.

In fact, Trump even discouraged voting in Georgia and it may have cost us a couple of seats. Preferred Stacey Abrams over Kemp. The problem is, if you’re not going to be Trump’s ball washer, you become a target of his. He’s made so many enemies in the republican party he cannot unite them. If he cannot unite republicans.
