The only sequels I've ever seen that worthwhile were The Godfather and Star Wars. I loved Bettlejuice but I'll give the sequel a pass.

“Beetlejuice 2” picks up where the original series left off ... Rather strange given the age differences, as others have noted. Why not fast-forward to where Lydia Deetz (Winona Ryder) has a teenage daughter who discovers the secret of Beetlejuice, maybe with friends, and they bring him back?

The first one never appealed to me. I do like a bit of his stuff, I really enjoyed “The Nightmare Before Christmas”. Other people like it, though, so it makes me wonder what it is in me that doesn’t appreciate that movie like others do.
I figure it must be me.
