Although perhaps not as beloved as its predecessors, A Charlie Brown Christmas and It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown, the 1973 TV special A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving nevertheless is a holiday staple. In fact, except for not airing for a few years in the 1980s, it has become a Thanksgiving rite for generations -- so much so that there was outcry in 2020 after Apple TV+ acquired the exclusive rights to classic Peanuts animated specials and new series. Fans want their Charlie Brown holiday traditions.

And how come Franklin is the only one to get a utensil!!?? A clear racial bias. Maybe the table was set by the government.
“Those rich white kids can bring their own utensils.”
Correction: it has only caused “controversy” the past couple of years when the media pointed it out.
Dude! Sally sat there to be next to Linus and his infinite wisdom.
Everything is racist!
The "Peanuts" kids didn't want to integrate with the "Wee Pals" kids?
If they didn’t have a black character that’s racist.
Because they do have a black character but seat him across the table, that’s racist.
As Charlie Brown is letting the gang into his house Franklin is the last to walk in and he and Charlie share a fist bump 👊 and a give each other “five”. I’m sure that’s racist too.
Charlie Brown didn’t take a knee, in front of Franklin, so Charlie Brown is racist.
Too many people are way too easily offended.
Well, that’s because they’re f’in a-holes, you see
They’re not actually. “Being offended” is just a means of obtaining power over others, and it’s free, so they do it.
It’s a crude parody of real emotion used as leverage against civilized people. It doesn’t work on leftists because they don’t give a rat about other people, but like any sociopath they learn precisely what will cause other people to do their will.
True.
They basically learned how to phrase it to lay a guilt trip on others to manipulate them into capitulating.
But nobody seems to realize that all the characters across from Franklin are all looking at him and he basically has their undivided attention.
Sitting next to each other allows you to converse with really only the people immediately on your right or left. Talking to someone further down the table becomes much more difficult.
This set up allows Franklin to easily converse with everyone else at the table.
I'm trying to teach my dogs to cook Thanksgiving dinner, but they aren't learning it... 🤓
Never thought the PEANUTS GANG was racist towards Franklin.
What is it I need to get upset about now?
Why aren't we talking about how much of a cannibal Woodstock really is?
Actually there is a place setting next to the black character but perspective makes seem farther than it would really be.
Peppermint Patty, sitting next to Chuck, has both hands above the table, so no rumors please. I never liked the taste of peppermint.
Once there we got a cold reception from the all-black admins and teachers telling us we were being tolerated against their will and we'd be watched like hawks and punished severely for any infractions.
The parents stopped pelting the bus after a few days and a routine set in where I had to snoop on teacher directive notes to stay tops on grades (they screwed off a lot) and practiced martial arts due to the constant fights forced into. So funny to see school employees looking and walking away when two or more boys decided to whomp me.
When I got very good at retaliation the story changed fast and they couldn't say "white oppression" when it was me against a group. The peace lasted until the press went to other things and I went to a restroom seeing the assistant football coach standing outside acting odd. Smiling for one thing.
"Hey Mike. You should try out for the basketball team." Right sure, blacksketball at the all black school. I got to the urinal when the lights went out and I heard movement of a few people to me right back, so I side-stepped left a few paces zipping up and shifting to the sound. Good thing, as a knife sliced my thigh as I was moving.
I got that guy's head and bashed it to the wall while going to the door (line of light underneath). The coach's face surprised it was me coming out instead of his boys so I made sure to laugh/bark at him with blood spurting out my leg. I went home after doing a tourniquet from my T-shirt. Got to love all that Boy Scout training.
No trouble after that but I went to the state orphanage school later where life improved tremendously so all good.
Point being is yes, blacks can be and are normally racist being raised to be and it takes effort from non-blacks to prove one's worth otherwise. Meanwhile they don't see it among themselves at all, thinking their exclusion of non-blacks in their circles is normal and a self-defense measure.
That's how we see "all black" graduation ceremonies accepted and even celebrated now days while some still bitch about whites being none-inclusive about this or that perceived sleight when someone's wish isn't catered to fast enough.
This preposterous pattern of over-tolerance for the sake of "non-offensiveness" by non-intellectual Caucasians has drifted into their attitudes about Muslims, not understanding their IS NO MEETING GROUND with Muslims. You convert, be their slave, pay a tax while bowing down to them or die. Those are their rules and you're only option, if you want to look at yourself in a mirror, is exterminate them first. There is no compatibility between Islam's demands for total obeisance and America's foundational recognition of personal and religious freedoms with a non-bound judicial system.
America's blacks seem to be finally "getting it" that the Democrats will forever promise everything for votes while providing next to nothing for black people in return. I was at work the other day where I have to listen to too much other culture "music" (so many Mexicans) but laughed wildly hearing a rap song promoting...Donald Trump. Sometimes hope where one expects it least.
