When I see photos and videos of such things, I marvel at the engineering that went into building such technology.
Off topic, but here's one of my favorite mechanical marvels. How the hell do you design such a thing?

Dont tell my ex about these diamonds, I’m sure she’ll want one. I pity her husband.

Big progress on this second effort. Booster nominal w/ all engines running through to staging. Launch pad with its water system performed well w/ no major damage. The Ship got into space and did almost all of its burn before something went sideways. Look forward to #3, hopefully soon.

Gorgeous. Especially love the methane glow.

I have to comment on one thing that I think is wrong in this story: “Starship rocket booster’s 33 Raptor Vaccum engines”.
Ignoring the typo, they use vacuum engine OUTSIDE the Earth’s atmosphere in the vacuum of space.

Has anyone else noticed the amount of crap floating about social media about flat earth stuff and the fact that Elon's starship ran into the firmament, the invisible barrier in the sky, claiming that we are encased in water with only the firmament to protect us.
I don't understand the trolls or idiots who make this stuff up, what is their endgame, just to be trolling for laughs for something more sinister.
Thoughts anyone?

Awesome pictures, thanks for posting them. Love SpaceX, it’s the only reason I joined Twatter, so I could follow it.

SpaceX finally got to fly their second integrated flight test of the fully reusable Starship & Superheavy system, the launch was spectacular, excitement had been guaranteed and excitement was delivered. The reusable part however remains elusive for now, but I look forward to seeing the next launch be even more successful.
