Ronald Reagan was giving a speech in West Berlin when a balloon popped very loudly. He was completely unfazed.
This occurred in 1987, which was 6 years after John Hinckley Jr. tried to assassinate the President.

We were lucky to have him.
Even if he had stopped a moment to quickly scan the room after that pop, I wouldn’t have judged him.
The first instinct for most people is self preservation.
Who could blame him for being wary, after the Hinckly horrors?
Well he’d already been shot and kept his cool.
That’s because Reagan was in the world and not of it and felt that way every second of his life. That’s what faith in Jesus Christ does for a man.
