Kentucky Election Night Reporting
Low turnout favor Republicans?
I hope the KY election results will not turn into satire or comedy! ;-)
In the Kentucky 44th Circuit Judge’s race, it also remains a nailbiter with the candidates locked in at ZERO percent each.
You mean like if a couple divorces in Kentucky, are they still cousins? Oh wait, that is in West Virginia.
polls close at 7pm ET
Hold on! Hold on! We have MOMENTUM in the Family Court 30th District 5th Division Circuit Judge race with Emily Craddock moving to FIRST PLACE with 0% of the vote counted!
So why does it say 6 PM on the Web?
WOW!!!
donno, but see here

I think half of KY is on Eastern time and half on Central; there is a 6 pm closing in both halves which translates to 7 pm in the Central time part.
Polls are still open in much of the state - and in overall the most conservative part of the state.
Let’s not pull a Florida 2000 and tell people they are all closed while there was still an hour to go and some many choose not to show up and vote thinking the polls were already closed.
Part of the state is on central time. The reast is eastern.
That is correct.
Correct - all polls are not closed until 7 PM ET.
They close at 6 PM ET and 6 PM CT. So there is 40 minutes of voting still to go in the CT time zone.
Lol. No, since PJ-Comix posted the thread, I half expected satire when I opened it.
That was when Dan Rather pretended to do an OOOPSIE by declaring Florida for Gore before the Panhandle counties closed their polls.
I’m not expecting much from a state that keeps electing the Turtle.
Back then at least they pretended, now they are quite open and blatant with their mischief.
Yes. Pretty much every network did that - called the state with polls still open...but also kept declaring “polls are closed in Florida” constantly for a hour even before calling the state.
