Now you're just flip-flopping back & forth.
First you want to accuse me of lying for making an unverified claim about other posters' draft & service, or lack of.
Then you want to make excuses for all of your own unverified claims -- no lies there, you say.

So let me see if I can un-confuse you about these things.

An unverified claim, by definition, is an opinion, and opinions might be right or wrong, but they are not lies unless knowingly wrong.
Let's consider an example -- suppose you tell us that "2+2=5", it's your opinion, and as such it's not necessarily a lie until someone points out correctly that, no, 2+2=4 not 5.
Now, if you are honest, you'll admit your mistake and correct your post to read "2+2=4".
An honest mistake is not a lie.

But, for sake of argument, suppose for some reason you can't admit that 2+2=4, you have to insist that 2+2=5 and so you just keep repeating it, over and over and over again, like a propagandist, as if somehow repeating a falsehood often enough can magically turn it from lie to truth.
Well, it's can't, ever, and repeating a known falsehood as if it were true makes anyone a liar.

Bottom line: an opinion, even if wrong, is not necessarily a lie, but when you know the truth but keep repeating what's false, those are lies, regardless of how sincerely you might wish them to be true.

Do we need to belabor this point any further?

2. Ukraine's air force has destroyed or forced the Russian navy to retreat from Crimea to safer ports.

3. Total Russian casualties are estimated to run about 2 to 1 over Ukrainian military casualties, and are already well past total Russian casualties in all previous wars since WWII combined.
   How long Russians can absorb such losses is as yet to be determined.

4. Western economic sanctions against Russia have done limited damage, so far, but they continue to tighten and may soon include outright seizure of Russian assets to help rebuild Ukraine.

5. Vlad the Invader's "special military operation" has brought Finland and Sweden into NATO, major NATO victories.

6. Ukraine is on a fast track to join the European Union.

7. Ukraine will eventually be admitted into NATO.

So, much of what Vlad the Invader said he went to war to achieve he instead lost.
Yes, in the past year battlelines have not changed much, but more and more Russian military assets within Ukraine have been destroyed or forced to withdraw well into Russia itself.
How these will change in the next year is anybody's guess.

Bottom line: pro-Russian predictions of Ukraine's imminent defeat have all been exaggerated.

Keep in mind that supporting the people of Ukraine is not necessarily the same as supporting Zelenskyy and his cabal, and supporting the people of Russia is not necessarily the same as supporting Putin and his cabal.
