A Florida roofing company is offering a special for anyone pulling the trigger over Thanksgiving — a free frozen turkey and an AR-15 assault rifle.
“The turkey will get you all sitting at the table so you can spend time together. The roof will protect your home, and the AR-15 will protect your family,” Jason Polly, president of Roof EZ in Cape Coral, told WESH.
Polly said he got the birdbrained idea after seeing a business offer the same deal in Alabama.

“...bird brained idea....”? Oh, nycompost. 🖕

Wow! This may beat the "Doctor" who owns Heart Attack Grill!
And stuff the turkey with 223 Remington rounds.
Just put a warning on it - do NOT put in oven!
On further perusal I see the name of the entity that penned the article, yaron stienbach. Wonder if he/she/them/they is one of those that believes Israelis should be unarmed. Fidiot!

Can you choose how you get your heart attack?
Are these high-capacity turkeys?
“assault rifle”
The article mentions “assault rifles.”
Me, I don’t own any AR-15 “assault rifles.”
That’s a focus-group tested fungible term of art brought to us by the people who gave us “Saturday night specials,” imaginary “plastic guns” and “high-capacity magazines.”
I might have owned an AR-15 PERSONAL DEFENSE WEAPON or two in my life.
Personal Defense Weapon — or PDW — is what they’re called when carried in the trunk of every police cruiser in the country and they’re brought into private citizens’ homes strapped to the chests of SWATZI stormtroopers.
Let’s not use the left’s terms of propagandistic art.
Stopped reading at “assault rifle.” If someone called it as such, and the rifle in question lacks a fun switch, that person is either ignorant or a liar, and not worth listening to.
You sure do. Several ways...
Brilliant idea. Think how much FREE ADVERTISING they’re getting from an AR they spent $500 on.
Do you have to thaw the turkey before you shoot it?

I meant the burger or the babe.
