My wife understands my lifetime collection of 50 guns and 50,000 rounds of ammunition and range time and hunting in the woods. The endless Horus of reloading and practice and working to perfection accuracy up close with hand guns and 600 meters out with a rifle. She understands, she gets it.
Even if the Israelis only had 22LR rifles this would have turned out differently. I’m not recommending 22LR for self-defense. But any firearm is better than no firearm. Hamas terrorists wouldn’t have come near a handful of settlers with 1022s and some 25 or 50rd magazines. At close ranges 22LR is deadly.
