You won’t believe this but the other day I went to Costco with my youngest daughter and bought one of their roasted chickens. So yesterday I was cooking up the broth to make chicken & dumplings later. I got 3 batches of the broth now freezing.
Lol chicken and dumplings as well, eh?
Must be the cold weather. It’s a perfect cold weather food. I just gave a big container to my daughter for their clan. I have another big container in the freezer for my son. I had two servings of it and am ready to move on to something else lol.
I had lots of potato, so I didn’t add any noodles of any kind. Yes, I drop it in when boiling, turn it down, put on the glass lid and watch them morph into tasty little balls of dough, thick and dense enough to use a knife lol.

I have heard people also buy Pillsbury bisquits and cut them in small pieces and drop them in. I might try that sometime.

I’m watching her service. She led quite the life. Her son Chip said he was waiting to give a speech somewhere, and he was so nervous he felt like vomiting. His mother told him that, in this life you can do anything for 20 minutes except hold your breath. Lol, good advice.
Her grandson said she told him her and Jimmy went to some island but didn’t get a hotel room. He asked her where they slept, and she said they danced all night and slept on the plane home. ❤️
“Rosalynn was my equal partner in everything I ever accomplished,” Jimmy said in a statement after his wife’s death. “She gave me wise guidance and encouragement when I needed it. As long as Rosalynn was in the world, I always knew somebody loved and supported me.”
I just got a grocery delivery and poor Proby was so disappointed he didn’t get anything. I promised next delivery will be all for him from his store.

Uh oh. Better get that order together soon, and put some extra treats in there. Maybe some catnip, for his Saturday nights.
I gave him some catnip a few days ago. He was just laying next t to me, and I know I’m probably projecting human feelings on him but I gave him his favorite thing, a lil’ soup, at 2:30 in the afternoon! He’s happy now and wants to play, but I need rest for a bit.
“However my Japanese wife will not tolerate that sort of thing, deadly stare.”
I bet a Japanese accent wouldn’t go over any better.

I searched for fluffy light dumplings. With the chicken and dumplings you might be getting the southern recipe which is more like big thick noodles.
Weird, now I’m finding recipes with no egg, but they are said to be light and fluffy.
I think I’ll go with the Bisquick
