I’m staying put, close to my non-woke family, and we’re all hoping when President Trump returns that he scares our little Trudeau so much that he runs into hiding. I look forward to an out-and-out routing of Trudeau when Canada watches America rise again.

Capers are salty, and they are packed in brine and vinegar. To use them, empty them from the bottle and wash them with water. You don't need to chop them up. They're fine as is after a washing.

Insofar as there are only two of us, we're having Cornish game hens instead of turkey.

When you’re cooking the garlic and anchovies in olive oil, and before you add the water to break the anchovies up, don’t be afraid to add a bit of crushed red pepper if you have it. 1/2 tsp, or 1 full tsp if you’re feeling brave. It adds a bit of spice to the mix.
