I love Roseanne to pieces, and I hate to say this-but her voice goes right through my head.
I can only stand her voice if the captions are on and the sound is off.
The sound system in my hearing aides is attuned to what I miss in normal speech, so her voice as shrill as it is, is just too much.
I DO love her though!
RE: house plants
They love house plants. I threw all mine away.

Fire destroys Revolutionary War records in War Department
On this day in history, November 8, 1800, a fire destroys the Revolutionary War records in the War Department building in Washington DC. Most other records of the war were lost during the British invasion of Washington DC during the War of 1812.
Because of the fire, few records from the Revolution were in federal custody until 1873 when Secretary of War William Belknap purchased records from several private collections, including those of Timothy Pickering, who had been a member of the Board of War between 1777 and 1785 and Adjutant General and Quartermaster General of the Continental Army, and those of Samuel Hodgdon, who served as Commissary General of Military Stores during some of the war years. In addition, Secretary Belknap purchased several minor collections and individual items from various people.
Over the next several decades, records of the American Revolution held by other departments were consolidated and all were transferred to the Department of State. In 1914 and 1915, the War Department made photocopies of Revolutionary War records held in various institutions in North Carolina, Virginia and Massachusetts. The whole collection was transferred to the National Archives in 1938.

Well, I just noticed today that my big, healthy pothos, which has been thriving for a couple of years, has leaves turning yellow and looking burnt at the ends. It’s not the usual yellow leave you get if you over-water, but something different. I’ll bet they’re being eaten by the fruit flies. Grrrrr. I’ll have to inspect tomorrow in daylight.
Don’t forget that the little Ba$tard$ lay eggs EVERY DAY that
they are alive!
I didn’t mind Roseanne so much, but Kimberley Guilfoyle screeching at me is more than I can take. I never liked her much.

My dumb ass friend Gloria just called me gloating about how Democrats won big on abortion last night.
I said yeah, that’s wonderful because it means y’all be stopping future Democrat voters from coming into the world.
She didn’t know what to say to that.
Then I said, for every black baby that ain’t born, it’s a racist Democrat somewhere cheering in the background.
She hung up on me.

Well, I have been plying them with alcohol for a week, so they likely wonder why I don’t light the candles and put on some music.
” Is it because they feel emboldened with the 2SLGBTQ thing?”
HUH??
Fruit flies?
LOL!
Or even make dinner!?
Another thing to capture the pesky fruit flies...
Sticky lint remover roll. Roll it on your countertops, floor, furniture.
Ahh that’s a good idea. I’ll get on that tomorrow. I think I have one of those. Thanks, s&s.

You have to admit that even though they were CGIs the
“ENTS” were very well done!
I forget how many awards they won for all the work they did but I Think the “Return of the King” won the most amount in history for cinematography and all that!
Oh my goodness. That is a funny clip, and I certainly don’t mean any offense to anyone, but that clip put me in mind of Leslie Lemke. That wonderful miracle of the boy who had that amazing musical gift. It reminded me of him because his mother heard someone playing the piano and singing in the night and thought the tv was left running, but it was her son (she brought him home from the hospital when he was left for dead) suddenly playing the piano and singing. Amazing story of God’s incredible love and hearing prayers.
