Worth watching. We'll see what happens at noon. But if he gets through I think Johnson will be a good Speaker.
And much better than the insidious, lying snake that McCarthy apparently was.

It was the MIC and the New World Order. McCarthy is just a puppet.

Normally the Speaker is a senior leadership position for someone who has been in Congress a very long time, and has the political clout to impose their will on the caucus and the House as a whole. Johnson has only been in Congress since 2017 and wouldn't be qualified in my book.
However, Johnson is part of the "MAGA class" of freshmen Congressmen who came in with Trump, and that counts for a lot in my book as well. So we'll see how he does as Speaker, and if he can control the herd of cats, or gets trampled in the stampede.

It’s been McCarthy all along who has blocked all these candidates for Speaker. It’s McCarthy who tried to plot his return.....the swamp has been exposed. Bye bye McCarthy

Also worth watching is the first half hour of War Room today. Gaetz gave the timeline of yesterday’s goings-on, and it was SO interesting. I’m going to watch it again.

McCarthy was the only one opposed to the unanimous consent in the Republican caucus to name Johnson as Speaker.
My guess is that McCarthy was trying to weasel his way back into the Speaker position.
McCarthy refusal to fund great candidates who wouldn’t kiss his ass almost kept the GOP from winning the House. Best example of a candidate he undermined is Joe Kent in WA-3.
