A Connecticut couple was charged with disorderly conduct after berating a pair of Puerto Rican landscapers and accusing the brothers of being in the US illegally.
The ugly caught-on-camera confrontation began when Robert Shaw, 62, and Sharon Bourgeois-Williams, 58, verbally attacked the landscapers who were working on a nearby home in Middletown, Connecticut.

Perfectly good chance they were, and if they were the press would never confirm that they were.
Puerto Rico is a US territory and these fellows, assuming (big assumption) the reporting is correct, are US citizens. Besides that, to walk on to someone else’s property and berate people doing a job is IMHO over the line. A karen is a karen no matter their presumed party affiliation.
Yes, but are they really Puerto Rican (born in Puerto Rican)?
It is a known fact that tens of thousands of Dominicans have forged Puerto Rican birth certificates they use to get into the US. It got so bad that the US State Department in 2012 revoked ALL Puerto Rican birth certificates going back 100 years. If you claim to be born in Puerto Rico, you have to resubmit your credentials with the government in order to receive a new birth certificate.
Just because someone claims they are Puerto Rican does not mean they really are (looking at you Geraldo Rivera and Ocasio Cortez).
How bougie of her.
They’re Puerto Rican. They are Americans. They cannot possibly be here illegally.
You’re welcome. :)
I do it on purpose a lot!! when ever I see landscapers, cement companies etc, I break the ice in conversation with a simple... “Hey, You speak English?” the reactions from those who were born here were priceless. (Sometimes I kinda felt they were native) The looks on their faces!! lol
Morons like this don’t help our side.
Puerto Ricans (and Guamanians) can’t vote in US elections for Pres, Senate and Voting House members. They do have, by grace, non-voting members of the house, and the political parties (Both R and D, for 60+ years) give them small representation at party conventions. But they don’t have real voting rights, as they are not constituents of any of the United STATES
They could be liberals.
“No one is illegal UNLESS they are near my house”
Robert Shaw is going to need a bigger legal defense team.

But there’s going to be more of this.
Blame Joe Biden.
The other day, a neighbor had their roof replaced. 1 day. Asphalt shingles. 8 Mexicans had the roof stripped, and shingled in 1 day.
While standing on the lawn with the owner watching, the boss said something and everyone stopped working and the foreman explained to the whole group, in Spanish, what they had to do.
We live in NH and the roofing company was from Massachusetts. You cannot tell me they’re here legally.
The home owner said they had the cheapest quote.
no. it is propaganda to make other people hesitant to call out illegal invaders.
Verdadero amigo. Verdadero.

Thank you for the correction, BohDaThone. They can vote in the primaries only, not in the actual election. My memory failed me (as per usual). I recalled seeing their flags on the Republican National Convention floor once upon a time.
