It looks like it will be a coalition government in New Zealand. The National Party is not getting a majority, so they are going to have to cooperate with some other party to govern, like ACT New Zealand.
Would be nice to include a news link, instead of just a disembodied opinion:
I was trying to find a link, but apparently all news sources out of New Zealand are verbotten on FreeRepublic.
I’ve just been watching the live results through the night.
National is Republicans
Labour is Democrats
National - center-right or conservative
ACT - market liberal or libertarian
these two parties are joined at the hip
NZ First - centrist / populist
this part has swung both ways and is inclined, this time around, to join with National
it looks 50-50 that National + ACT will finish with a majority of the seats
if not, National + ACT + NZ First
You mean we can’t post excerpts from NZ news sources?
Is that because of some NZ copyright law or something?
Or is it no links at all, because they’re all wacko leftists?
I honestly don’t know.
I just know that the message on Freerepublic is that it can’t be posted. You can try to create a thread to see why.
Try this.

It looks like they have to do all three right leaning parties in order to form government. Although, if things hold, the National Party could do it with ACT and squeak by.
Update, looks like the conservative + libertarian have enough
