It's extensive. Many of the entrenched loyalties of each little entity still survive. This alone makes trying to understand who the Ukraine is nearly an impossible dream. Add in the Azov nazi movement advanced and fomented by the cia after 2014 and possibly before and you have a cluster country nearly unmanageable with one end of the country loyal to one country and countless other areas also with divided loyalties.
