The military is powerful and ready even though many of our ships won’t sail for lack of manpower and maintenance. We have 100 million dollar air planes that can’t fly in a thunderstorm. We have stripped our armories for the sake of foreign oligarchs, and squandered our petroleum reserves. And we can’t recruit enough men to replace those who are getting out. Other than that though, yeah — we’re ready for anything.
