My gut feeling is the New York Post wouldn’t tell me the truth even if hell froze over.

Does she identify Hillary Clinton as a conspiracy theorist?

Today’s fringe conspiracy theory turns out to be confirmed facts in about six months, but it gets dismissed as “old news, what does it matter now?”.

In a pair of new studies, behavioral scientists investigated the relationship between “truth relativism” — the concept that truth and reality are different to different people — and the risk of falling victim to false information.

This is a good point, noting the linkage between Truth and Reality. The MSM presents their version of truth and expects everyone to venerate that. Or you will be prosecuted!

Reality is much big than that. For every data point the DS puts out to accuse President Trump, there are alternate facts that need to be promoted. President Trump, better than anyone, knows that the narratives the DS attempt to interweave with reality are designed to enslave Americans. That was one of the reasons for Truth Social - where we can all freely express (or "truth") our individual Truths, thereby preventing the DS from controlling all of reality.

Uh, journalist.
As if anyone is less able to think...except for ‘eddikators’ and Democrat politicians.

Funny how all those conspiracies are not being proven as true...

I have a scientific mind, know how the natural world works, and I will follow my true gut every single time.

why? Because what authority presents as fact is often manipulation

In a pair of new studies, behavioral scientists investigated the relationship between “truth relativism” — the concept that truth and reality are different to different people — and the risk of falling victim to false information. “I think many people who emphasize a more relativistic view of what truth is mean well,” Julia Aspernäs, Ph.D. student in the Department of Behavioral Sciences and Learning at Linköping University in Sweden, said in a statement.

I suspect that the "truth" of the gut feeling is altered subtly over time. The half life of a "debunked" falsehood turning into truth these days is about 2 months.

Media is losing control of the narrative. Top voted comment on the link was “This is from Sweden and the UK but here in America all the ‘conspiracy theorists’ over the last few years have been proven 100% right. Absolutely about politics but also the medical field too. Very sad times we live in.”

If it's something I know about, I have reason to trust my knowledge and experience, no matter how much you denigrate my "gut".
If it's something I don't know all that well, I rely on my general understanding of "how stuff works" to assess the value of the information.
If it comes from a source that has given me bad information in the past, I tend not to trust the information until I get further evidence.
If it comes from a trusted source, based on past experience, I give it a higher confidence factor but it's still tentative until I learn more.
If what read is full of obvious BS, hyperbole, political slants, scare tactics or ad hominem attacks, I give it very low marks from the start, you will have to work much harder to convince me.

That's how my gut works. It's not emotional, it's as much reasoning as possible.

Julia Aspernäs, Ph.D. student in the Department of Behavioral Sciences and Learning at Linköping University in Sweden.

What makes her an expert on the topic? She has her beliefs, but nothing about her statement convinces me she has any insight whatsoever. We have been told many topics of concern are nothing more than conspiracy theories, but as more evidence comes out, the more the conspiracy claim is put into jeopardy of being a real conspiracy, not a theory at all.

Furthermore, having a Ph. D. behind one's name does not mean that their conclusions are always correct. Many a conclusion by Ph. D. degreed people have been proven to be wrong over time. Take for example those with a Ph. D. who claim that there are more than 2 sexes. They are trying to claim that the pervious accepted beliefs, were wrong. Now all are/were holders of a Ph.D. degree. So, they can't both be right. I stand with the ones who say there are only two sexes, male & female

“Hunter’s laptop is Russian disinformation”.
