Hey Mum, why is Ukraine relieving its defense minister if they’re totally kicking Russia’s ass?
1.6 million Ukrainian men maimed, possibly 450,000 dead. Because of US.
SICKENING. we’re talking nearly ten times the amount of men lost in Vietnam, another Democrat war that tore America apart. Ten times what we threw away, wasted, over ten years! Rev Mom is a CIA shrill. Spit.
The West cannot defeat Russia. We cannot suffer the losses it would take us to even try. And why would we? Because Hillary lost the election to Trump???
This is an assertion entirely based on speculation.
Your tag line reflects well on your post, apply your post to Jim’s rules and where does it fall?
Not a fan of banning, however when the majority of some posters is just slander, and pointless memes I begin to rethink that for a moment
Not sure if I have asked this if you, but am curious, what situation would change you to not my flag, not my country, but is our problem.
Was Ww2 one of those?
Would the invasion of Taiwan or Japan be one?
How about South Korea?
Just looking for some clarification
Fair enough, can you give me any scenario(s) where you would approve of such use of American taxpayer dollars and potential lives?
Truly am curious, having served for almost 40 years I have been involved in many of our foreign involvements and I would imagine we agree that most have been a waste.
So again can you envision any “good” foreign interventions or do we go into full isolationism and say Sa la vee (sp?) to the rest of the world?
Events on the ground seem to show otherwise, quoting tucker and Macgregor does not help your credibility but hey that is my opinion, truck on
Well thanks for the clarification, guess we should have left europe in the hands of Hitler, curious the distinctions you make between nazi German occupation and control and Russian
To me seem pretty similar, and for all the historical evidence of Nazi German atrocities, Stalin and Mao made him look like an armature
Hey just my 2 cents
Imagine much that same can be said if Russian citizens, not so much Moscow and St. Petersburg, but certainly the eastern nether regions of Russian federation, who historically and present day, take the brunt of the casualties.
Of course you won’t hear or see much of that because the “liberty” loving Kremlin considers posting on one’s loved ones demise as a crime against the state
"The ‘PUTIN-Biden-Clinton-Obama’ cartel did used Ukraine as a FRONT to stage their money-laundering by using Russian agents embedded BY PUTIN in the Ukraine government: Ukrainian deep-state!So you see 1) Putin is in charge of Russia, 2) has been in charge of the deep state in Ukraine (per the 20 August 2023 testimony), 3) in charge of the United States via the Biden administration, including other Democrats such as Obama and Clinton, and of course 4) our very own deep state....President Zelensky is still trying to remove Ukraine CORRUPT “deep state created by Putin!”

Good thing I couldn’t care less what you think or rethink, isn’t it? 😏
That’s what’s so heartbreaking. Those people who are being sent to needlessly die have people they love who love them back. Countless families have been shattered, people’s livelihoods have been destroyed and once-prosperous, hardworking families have become refugees in foreign countries.
The posters on here who push for this to go on indefinitely and even celebrate this carnage disgust me. I have little for them but contempt.
What’s the difference between Allegra’s “pointless memes” and others’ relentless, regurgitated daily posts about “Ukraine is winning?”
A picture meme of a Sleestak is now slander? I’m sorry, but some of the stuff I see promulgated in some of the links in these daily updates go far beyond the ‘wit’ of a movie picture.
you only post fake news and propaganda.
Even msm globalist WSJ says there has been no breakthrough.

Thank you for the well-reasoned comment. 😊
I am fascinated by those referring to "Jim's rules" -- I don't know him personally, and so will call him Mr. Robinson -- never cite a portion of Mr. Robinson's post which states clearly -- "a difference of opinion whether or not the US government should be involved in a controversial foreign war where we were not attacked."
The back and forth regarding the "controversial foreign war" is about that controversial foreign war, and one "side" refuses to allow that there are many sides and opinions. Banning other than that which violates actual copyright infringement or excessive vulgarity seems to me the lure of the authoritarian. From shadow banning to cancel culture to just plain "shut up," considering "banning" is not compatible with a free republic as with this Free Republic.
Inexpert use of some terms such as "slander" fumbles. Since this is generally an anonymous forum, no anonymous' "reputation" can be "slandered" such as to cause anything more than hurt feelings.
As to "pointless memes," one's meme will be another's "pointless meme" because that also speaks to political perspectives, not any actual personal injury, for which relief should be sought via "banning" or reporting to moderation.
The officially non-NATO Ukraine-Russia war is, as Mr. Robinson noted, "a controversial foreign war where we were not attacked."
So this little encouragement to meme as you will -- as others have "memed" to me -- is penned.
Banning an individual's voice because one does not like it is not a conservative's stance.
The common Sleestack is a well-known denizen of Luzern nightclubs, where it hides among groups of young women, hoping to avoid deportation for desertion from the Great Sleestack War.
Excellent deconstruction of that veiled little threat at Post 45.
That poster’s behavior is curious. You see how he enters the thread and “hall monitors” every comment that isn’t in lockstep with the propaganda being presented here.
I hope these little hall monitors realize that they’re not intimidating anybody with their pathetic attempts to shut down the opposition. If he *is* a Mod and starts shadow-banning of zotting people who disagree with the Ukraine propaganda-pushers, then c’est la vie. People will see this as a huge turn-off.
I don’t think this is Jim’s intent at all. (I did meet Jim - via an arranged VoIP phone call from Baghdad when my fellow Houston FReepers were hosting him when he, Sheila {R.I.P.} and Chris visited Houston in 2004. Very nice guy.)
One notes that there are two daily threads, each with a similar format.
1) Multiple posts to self.In addition, when viewed with a less charged perspective, when disagreeing with the most enthusiastic of the pro-thread folks, one is labeled with the kinds of vocabulary which would never describe but always insult a conservative. Best wishes to you.2) Consistent format, beginning with a single and same source over months and months.
3) The encouragement to "click" on monetized "content" channels, one specializing in YouTube and the other in Twitter,
4) The consistent messaging of winning and "breakthrough" and the like, though after more than 500+ days the lines of the front do not seem to change enough to warrant such expansive PR.
5) The occasional "removed by moderator" message which is extremely rare in any other non Ukraine-Russia war threads.
