Good thing I couldn’t care less what you think or rethink, isn’t it? 😏
I am fascinated by those referring to "Jim's rules" -- I don't know him personally, and so will call him Mr. Robinson -- never cite a portion of Mr. Robinson's post which states clearly -- "a difference of opinion whether or not the US government should be involved in a controversial foreign war where we were not attacked."
The back and forth regarding the "controversial foreign war" is about that controversial foreign war, and one "side" refuses to allow that there are many sides and opinions. Banning other than that which violates actual copyright infringement or excessive vulgarity seems to me the lure of the authoritarian. From shadow banning to cancel culture to just plain "shut up," considering "banning" is not compatible with a free republic as with this Free Republic.
Inexpert use of some terms such as "slander" fumbles. Since this is generally an anonymous forum, no anonymous' "reputation" can be "slandered" such as to cause anything more than hurt feelings.
As to "pointless memes," one's meme will be another's "pointless meme" because that also speaks to political perspectives, not any actual personal injury, for which relief should be sought via "banning" or reporting to moderation.
The officially non-NATO Ukraine-Russia war is, as Mr. Robinson noted, "a controversial foreign war where we were not attacked."
So this little encouragement to meme as you will -- as others have "memed" to me -- is penned.
Banning an individual's voice because one does not like it is not a conservative's stance.
Apparently you also don’t care what Jim says either
