Unheard tapes of Princess Diana telling how Charles said he was 'disappointed' when Prince Harry was born because 'we wanted a girl'

The audio was recorded by Diana in the 1990s for her biographer Andrew Morton, who went on to publish the bestselling book Diana: Her True Story. Snippets of the clips, which are set to air in an upcoming documentary and have been released just a day after the 26th anniversary of Diana's death in a car crash, have been released in the US. Diana claims in the recording that Charles told her stepmother Raine Spencer at Prince Harry's christening in 1984: 'We're so disappointed, we wanted a girl'. Countess Spencer then 'snapped his head off' and told him he should 'realise you are lucky to have a child', Diana added.

So what. My parent wanted girls and got boys. Big deal.
Some parents got girls when they wanted boys. Some people didn't get into their first choice of college...or second, third, or fourth. Or couldn't go to college.
I wanted to be a professional baseball player. Oops. Cry in mah beer.
Is this what mankind has become? A bunch of whiners.
So Harry's mom and dad wanted a girl? Give me a break. The guy's a prince for heaven's sake. His dad's the King.

There is an episode of the old “Dear John” sitcom with the old switched baby plot....guys babysit for mom eith English accent, lose kid, recover the kid before the mom realizes they’d lost him.... They start to change the diaper, and discover that the child they’ve recovered is a girl. “We’ve got the wrong kid.” “Well, he is British.
