Hubby got home, was in the middle of telling me what happened, when two demo guys showed up to pick up all the trash.
They didn’t even know about the hot water pipe leak that Randy reported yesterday and was told that someone would come check on it.
I tell you, it’s crazy!
Come to find out this crash happened 3 weeks ago, and she didn’t want to bother us because of what we are going through.
She is really fortunate to be alive because she was sitting right where he crashed through the wall.
Several of her cats were on the window ledge looking out, they all scattered and wouldn’t come out for at least 48 hours.
The wall has been temporarily patched but is allowing in cold air and she has no electricity on that side of her apartment.
She is getting the run around from the apt. mgr.
She has a lot of medical issues and is going to end up sick it she stays there.
The apt. mgr. told my husband that a police report hasn’t been filed.
Not so sure about that as an off-duty sheriff who lives in the neighborhood showed up and caught the drunk who had preceded down the street and crashed into something else.
Our friend said she got a look at him and he was either a Mexican or Native American.
We are off to do a bunch of errands and will add helping our dear friend to the list.
MY cat, and especially my granddaughter’s cat, can rip my skin open with no problem.

If this country is going down, I am going down fighting. I don’t care if that means fighting Republicans, Democrats, the uniparty, House leadership, the PACs, or the lobbyists.

They are not out of the woods yet and prayers are greatly appreciated.
I hear you, exit. It’s a sh!t show either way. MTG looks to have Kev’s back ahead of Gaetz, that’s a certain. After her debacle which led to funding being secured through 2024, the debt ceiling being raised and all leverage lost, I don’t listen much to what she has to say.
I’m thinking that at this point, military IS the only way. I just hope the military is aware of this and has something up their sleeve and they play their hand very soon.

The weaponization of our justice system by radicals is a mortal danger to our Republic. It is therefore disturbing to see how many Republicans are simply ignoring it.
Ignoring the storm does not stop the flood.
I remember finding a litter of feral kittens way back when. Not being terribly knowledgeable about cats, I reached in to pat them....they all looked so cute in that little bundle with about 10 eyes lol. Well, I never knew such a cute little furry critter could go so nuts and be so vicious! That didn’t last long lol.

I just saw Gaetz tell reporters that he based his accusation that McCarthy and Biden had a deal on Ukraine on Biden saying so. McCarthy says it didn’t happen, so says “somebody’s lying”.
Biden is always lying, so why believe him this time?
