Currently in the disbarment trial of Trump’s attorney John Eastman, the judge is doing everything she can to keep Berkeley constitutional law professor John Yoo from coming back to the witness stand in Eastman’s defense presentation by claiming that since Yoo admitted he wasn’t up to speed on the particular facts of the 2020 election, he should not be allowed to testify about the vice president’s authority to reject electoral votes at all. Yoo has already testified extensively about vice presidents exercising that authority throughout history, so she sounds ridiculous and desperate grasping at straws to shut down any further damage Yoo can do decimating the California bar’s case.

I’m sorry about your dad.
My dad also fought the Nazis in World War II.
And then fought the communists in Korea and Vietnam.
Then died of cancer that was known to be caused by agent orange. But apparently there was no correlation, according to the US Army.
