I have a horrible childhood memory about eating a rabbit.
We had a family pet named Thumper, who we thought we would have for a long time.
He disappeared on day and low and behold we were invited to our aunts for dinner.
As we all sat down to dinner my cousin said “Well, there goes the last of Thumper.”
Nobody could eat and we kids were all crying.
Never been able to eat rabbit.
Oh, OK, I get it.

I prefer he continues to publicly stumble bumble and forget who where or what he's going every time he does show up!

My grandmother had a mean damn rooster that would attack us kids as we tried to trek up to the outhouse,and that rooster would jump that coop and the race was on!
She finally served him up to the best chicken and dumplings we ever had! HA! ;)
Yup, it was Thumper.
I guess he was meant to be Sunday dinner somewhere down the road.
It’s just that we kids didn’t know.
Now that would have been a different story.
Would have had no trouble eating that old bird.
My Mom’s aunt lived in Idaho on a ranch.
We would spend weeks there in the summer.
Between the mean old rooster and the scary old ram, we ran for our lives across the pasture to get to my Mom’s cousin’s house.
Fun memories.

I did see a couple of sparrows come to build their nest in one of my trees which the sparrows have been doing for years. This was about the end of April early May then all of a sudden they left.
The Doves who made my pond their home are not here anymore either. It could be a cat got them. :-(

Sorry for not being more clear. In those threads some of us have long lamented
not being able to discuss some of the things I saw being discussed without fuss
in the Trump Train outside of our Q cage.
Not trying to make y’all into a Q thread.
I was just happy to see some of our occasional cherished themes and memes in your conversations.
We’ve been having a few fights and pile ons in our threads. I was also remarking
that yours seem less contentious.
