We just got back from Bubba’s helping Nurse Jackie and her twin sister, who is a retired nurse too, go through and take care of some things.
When we got there, she was in tears as Blackie was being taken to Pet Allies by a dear friend to be put up for adoption.
We all shed a few as we bid Blackie Good-Bye for the last time.
Going to help her on Sat. with an estate sale.
We are in a bit of a pickle ourselves, I talked a few days ago of a leak in the master bath, took hubby until Monday to find the source.
Long story short, it was the both the hot and cold water couplings leaking, according to the plumber, who came yesterday, on hot water heater and it has slowly been leaking since the water heater was installed 8 years ago according to Service Master who came today.
Nasty Mold everywhere.
Walls, flooring, bathroom sink, toilet and some cabinets have to be torn out in MB, laundry room and garage where the water heater was in a cabinet.
Everything has to be moved out of the MB and laundry room, hoping they can put plastic in front of the pantry and tape it off so it won’t get contaminated with spores or we will have to move that all too.
And of course, there is water and mold under our home that they will have to deal with too.
Oh, joy!
That looks like one of the rat snakes we have around here. They are very beneficial animals.
The only thing we know for certain is that is how big it used to be.

Arpaio reinstituted chain gangs. He expanded the chain gang concept by instituting female volunteer chain gangs.
And don’t forget his posse.....
Arpaio created an armed illegal immigration operations posse to help his deputies enforce immigration law. Members of the posse included actors Steven Seagal, Lou Ferrigno, and Peter Lupus.
Arpaio is also known for investigating former U.S. President Barack Obama’s birth certificate, this brought the full force of the Obummer DOJ down on him.
Obummer had to take him out, try to make Arpaio unelectable and rig an election against him, as he was now a threat to him and he did so IMHO.

Not an easy thing to deal with...or, live with, while dealing with.
Is there another bedroom/bath, for y’all to use, while all this work is being done? Did they say how long it will take?

We’re having to deal with similar, at the lake place, on a much smaller scale. Still a pain in the you know what, nonetheless.
I am sad about Blackie...hopefully, a loving family adopts him. Very nice of you to help with the estate sale. Talking to folks, stopping by, helps take your mind off the sad reason.

Yep....and, I am sick of the NUMEROUS emails/texts, from “Nikki”, daily.
Since we are just in the beginning stage, so to speak, don’t have a clue as to how long this is all going to take.
They said they would be sealing off the MB so when they rip into stuff it won’t contaminate the rest of our home.
I’m imaging they will be removing things out of the window, which is a big one, in the bathroom.
But I just don’t know for sure.
We will all be using the main bathroom for how long who knows.
Life is always interesting, that is for sure.
