I do go on the Q thread occasionally, but I have the decency to not mock or argue with their tightly held beliefs.
On the Q thread, they’re fine. They’re in their own “church” if you will. It’s when they try and foist it on others that the superior attitude often comes out.
I look at it now and again as well, but I would never say anything either. It’s their thread. I respect that, regardless of what I may or may not think.
Maybe it's being misinterpreted as "superior" when they are merely defending their position. What are they attitudes of those questioning them?

I read all posts and scroll by, comment on some post, add to the post if I can.
If someone is attacking someone for their posts I see that also.

I don’t think it was on from the get-go. In fact, the only person who mentioned Q now and again was exit. He would generally reference something in particular that was an actual Q posting.
Now, if we had stuck to just Q postings, that would be fine. Nobody knows what Q is, and the postings are interesting. I read all of them as they came out.
The angst started when all of these outrageous things got posted, all of the speculations and imaginings that the Qanons (for lack of a better term) spread. They just make stuff up, and it was posted on our thread as if it was true. Honestly, there was no squabbling that I can remember until Starlit came back on with her very unusual postings. That’s when it started. Q fantasies are ALWAYS a problem outside of the Q thread. That’s why the rule was made.
Well lookee here—I go out for a few hours and all heck breaks loose on the Train.

I will use my new position as Supreme Commmander (thank you, s&sf!) to point out the following:
Tempers are short already due to the stress from current world events, especially the mess in DC. It helps to keep that in mind when reviewing some of the comments. Also, certain comments may be interpreted differently if they were spoken instead of written. Can’t put inflection emphasis into a computer.
As far as Starlit is concerned, she exhibits a recurrent pattern. My experience is she starts out fairly low key, and then her opinions escalate. If no one calls her out she becomes more outrageous until we get the mess we had today.
Yes we have the ability to scroll, but she also has the ability to moderate her input, which she seems unable to do lately. Why should I have to accommodate behavior from someone who seems to have little respect for the others on this thread and becomes out of control when confronted?
Anyway, everybody settle down, get in bed, and - DON’T MAKE ME COME IN THERE, LOL!

I can’t speak for anyone but myself. I was always very polite, and constantly said that I hoped I was wrong and she was right. I even admitted that I still have hope, but still asked questions about things that made no sense to me. I got the odd response, but mostly just little quips and innuendos....no really direct answers. In fairness, I don’t think she had any real answers.
After awhile, she would just ignore any request for further information. The last time she answered a question, she pretty much just laughed at my asking and gave some weird cryptic response.
It really doesn’t matter at this point. I just don’t see why our thread has to be polluted with it when they have their own thread. They can be on both threads, no problem.
Heck, I’ve even wondered if she was a saboteur, intentionally sowing strife and division to hurt the thread. Can you think of any logical reason why she would continue to post this stuff when nobody really joins in with it?
