Weston has, since I've known him, expressed his acknowledgment that he was a sinner and needed forgiveness. He has always realized that Jesus is God's only provision for that sin, and by personally accepting (or realizing beyond a shadow of a doubt, if you will) Jesus's saving work on the cross, Weston could have a personal relationship with God. He has been assured of that ever since I've known Weston and even now, in the face of such a dire diagnosis, that faith did not waver.
He said good-bye to us and we realized the finality of that. It has been said that Christians should not grieve. If that were so, why did Jesus cry when Lazarus died? Jesus even knew that Lazarus would not stay dead. Jesus even knew that in only a few minutes, Lazarus was going to walk out of that tomb. Jesus cried anyway. So, although I knew that Weston wasn't going to stay dead, if this was a terminal diagnosis, I cried. A hole was left in our internet family. There was an empty seat in the front row of our Train cars.
Today, Weston shared with me that not only did he have these dire maladies, he had a very serious health crisis, even worse than brain cancer, approximately 10 weeks ago. Medical intervention was needed to keep him alive.
This next part is the GREAT PART (in his words)
Many many prayers went out for me after that incident. Two days after seeing the primary doctor, I woke up and a voice inside me said "you're not going to need your oxygen today". I was startled by this thought. My normal routine was to take my CPAP mask off, sit up and check my oxygen level (which would generally fall into the 80's quickly) then put on my walking around oxygen to go to the bathroom. That morning my oxygen registered 98 (higher than normal with supplemental oxygen). The inner voice, which I now began to realize was the Lord, prompted me to go to the bathroom without oxygen. I did. When I got back and sat down I was still at 98% oxygen. I said Lord, I don't know what's happening. Are you healing me? After awhile I got up and fixed my breakfast without being connected to oxygen. I cleaned up, sat down and put the pulse oximeter on my finger. It said 99 and then flipped to 100!! It hasn't been 100 since but God was saying, you're healed!I haven't used oxygen since that day!! It is truly a miracle.
Last week I was back to my primary doctor. He agreed and even told his receptionist that it was truly a miracle! Then I saw my kidney doctor and told him the story. He asked me, "are you a born again Christian". I said, "I am" I said, "are you" and he said, "I am" We both rejoiced together at what God has done because my kidneys also improved tremendously.
I wanted to tell you all this [for various reasons, but especially because] you know JESUS! He is alive and coming soon!"
I am sure Weston would agree with me in this next part. Miracles happen. I've experienced a medical miracle. Weston has experienced a medical miracle. More importantly and most importantly, we have experienced SPIRITUAL MIRACLES.
If you haven't done so already, PUT YOUR FAITH IN CHRIST. There is no need to fear death. Christians don't actually die. Our bodies do, but our spirits ascend. I believe that eventually our bodies ascend. IOW, CHRISTIANS DON'T STAY DEAD. This can be you, if it isn't already.
Father, we thank you for prolonging Weston's life with us. We miss him so much and rejoice that we can still physically talk with him. Take care of his family and we ask that continue to strengthen and sustain him, so that he can visit Israel next year, but so that his life will be even more conformed to Christ's image. In the matchless name of our Risen Savior we pray, AMEN!
We Need to Be on Covid Watch With Joe Biden Again

Throughout the week, we will be on Covid watch concerning Joe Biden. Jill, who tested positive on Monday, is experiencing mild symptoms while recovering at their house in Rehoboth Beach. After the First Lady’s infection was confirmed, the president was tested for the virus, which turned up negative for now (via ABC News):
First lady Dr. Jill Biden has tested positive for COVID-19, her communications director confirmed Monday.
“This evening, the First lady tested positive for COVID-19. She is currently experiencing only mild symptoms,” Elizabeth Alexander, communications director for the First lady, said in a statement Sunday night.
Dr. Biden is expected to remain at her home in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, the rep’s statement noted.
Following Dr. Biden’s positive test, President Joe Biden took a COVID test on Monday evening and tested negative, his press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said in a statement.
“The President will test at a regular cadence this week and monitor for symptoms,” Jean-Pierre noted in the statement.

What an amazing story of this blessed miracle.
I guess I may have read it as....we better be prepared to go to war....otherwise....we have no business funding.
But....I’ve only had 2 cups of covfefe, so I may be misreading?
