Martha Stewart has been accused of being 'tone deaf' after revealing she used a 'small iceberg' to keep her cocktail cold.
The lifestyle guru, 82, posted about her recent trip from Iceland to Greenland on the SH Vega expedition ship, run by Swan Hellenic cruise lines, which included sipping on drinks chilled by an iceberg it appears.
'End of the first zodiac cruise... into a very beautiful fjord on the east coast of Greenland. We actually captured a small iceberg for our cocktails tonight,' Stewart captioned the carousel of photos.
Among the images is a smiling Stewart clutching an iced cocktail and a picture of chunks of ice sitting on a cart.
Another photo shows a group of people charging their glasses of sparkling wine on the water along with snaps of some icebergs in their natural habitat.
But Stewart's post drew attention for all the wrong reasons, with her followers calling her out for being 'tone deaf' and 'irresponsible.'
'I generally love Martha and the excesses of her life because he's about beautiful gardens, homes, and food, but wealthy white people drinking their iceberg cocktails while the planet is in flames is a bit tone deaf,' one fan said.
'So as the climate warms due to the profits of a couple thousand people, billionaires vacation to the melting icebergs, scoop them up and use them to keep their cocktails cold,' another person wrote.
'That sounds like a line from a dystopian novel. Can't make this s*** up lol.
A third added: 'Martha I love ya. But weren't you just talking about climate change with your wash out on your driveway in NY?
'Melting icebergs for a cocktail surely won't help. I'm not even going to talk about the boat you're on and how that can't be good...'

After all, polar bears, seals, moose, and penguins have to go to the restroom somewhere. And who knows what else is in that ice?
It was probably marketed as original glacier water, distilled and refrozen for your pleasure.

Aren’t these the people warning everyone about the ice melting & causing rising sea levels? So, maybe removing some of the floating ice can help solve that? I think Martha may have come up with a solution to that problem. lol

I guess they’d be more upset with the Titanic running into the iceberg and doing something like that to a living creature than the tragic loss of life that took place.
Our poor dying civilization. The West is becoming more childish and idiotic by the day. Folks forget that man is just as much a natural part of the earth as are cute chipmunks, blue whales and icebergs. By definition, what man does on the earth is part of nature. And icebergs are not an endangered species. And Global Warming is a hoax.

Never forget that Greenland was warm enough for Europeans to live there centuries ago in the days of Erik the Red and Leif Erickson. Why? Because the Medieval Warm Period was warmer than the Modern Warm Period that the left freaks out about.

American ‘education’, for starters. In my younger days we’d park near a glacier in Alaska and fill up our coolers with the free ice that floated in from the glacier.
...and who or what the hell is she attacking/damaging by grabbing a piece of ice that is about to melt anyway?
Martha got railroaded into prison (who knows what she really did to get someone mad). She survived and as far as I am concerned she can take all the ice she wants for her drinks.
Something about Stewart that elicits insane reactions. I went on a cruise to Alaska years ago, went to Glacier Bay. They routinely do this, send out a boat to pick up a chunk of floating sea ice for afternoon happy hour. Sort of a fun thing, absolutely harmless.
