"Rocky and His Friends" was an instant hit in 1959, and it appealed to both the young and the "young at heart." But the Kremlin believed the show was anti-Soviet propaganda, and it was considered too shocking for viewers in The Great White North.

In spite of the AI fake voice, it's informative and fun, and afterwards it switches to an actual episode, which is ROFLMAO funny.

Some cartoons are timeless. I never tire of R&B or Sponge Bob. The fact that Canada and the Soviet Union both banned R&B, and they were told to p!ss off by the WH during the Cuban Missile Crisis is icing on the cake. In addition to the Dudley movie, they also made a Boris and Natasha movie and a Rocky & Bullwinkle Movie. I’ve seen them all.

Rocky and Bullwinkle were a hoot. The best thing on all of Saturday mornings. My fav segment was always the fractured fairey tales.

I just read the autobiography of June Foray. She was the voice of Rocky and Natasha and a slew of other cartoon voices. Interesting read.

We used to watch the show when it aired. Plenty of laughs. Enjoyed all the characters. Boris Badenov and Natasha Fatale, Peabody and Sherman, Fractured fairytales, were all good. I always thought that the Rocky and Bullwinkle Show was geared more towards adults, like some of the other animated shows back then, and MAD Magazine. We bought the latest issue of MAD, and their special edition issues at the local soda shop.
