Suggestive 1978 hit single considered by Universal Music Group to be too raunchy
Queen’s Fat Bottomed Girls has been dropped from a greatest hits compilation targeted at younger listeners.
The suggestive 1978 single in praise of “dirty ladies” with fuller figures was a chart success and featured on previous selections of favourite tracks by the glam rock band.
However, a new compilation of Queen hits released by Universal Music for a younger market does not feature the Fat Bottom Girls and its lyrics celebrating the beauty of a “heap big woman”.
The new greatest hits album has been made available on Yoto, an audio platform specifically aimed at children.
A new generation listening to the work of Queen will be shielded from the song, which describes an infatuation with “Fat bottomed girls” who “make the rockin’ world go round”.
The track written by Brian May includes the lyrics “I was just a skinny lad, Never knew no good from bad, But I knew life before I left my nursery, left alone with big fat Fanny, she was such a naughty nanny, big woman, you made a bad boy out of me”.

A Deadwood delight, although I prefer their "Sweet Jane" cigar.
“Ride my bicycle” and “Fat Bottomed girls” It doesn’t get any better than that!

This is a disgusting song. It is not because it’s “in praise of “dirty ladies” with fuller figures”; the lyrics describe child molestation by his nanny.
This is just crazy! Liberals ALWAYS ruin everything for everybody! As the owner of English Bulldogs and belonging to many FB Bulldog groups, one of my Bulldog friends made a video of all the “fat Bottomed Girls”, ie: fat bottomed bulldog females with the song playing in the background. My Harper was part of that video and it was the cutest thing ever! We were honored to be part of it as was every other person & their fat bottomed girl! I wonder if she has seen this?
The parents control the content.
Yoto has added this sanitized Queen collection to their offerings, which are GEARED TOWARD CHILDREN!
This isn’t for people over 16.
It’s actually a pro-family values kinda thing.
Now, the little DoodleBobs got mix tapes and bespoke CD mixes when they were young Deplorables. That was how we avoided inappropriate content.
This seems like a legitimate, ok type of thing.
Don’t bother trying to look for logic or consistency or even handedness in the leftist “woke” PC world. That isn’t what this is about, far from it.
The Streisand Effect. Maybe…
There is a whole catalog of pretty creepy tunes from the 60’s and 70’s, if one actually listens to the lyrics.
I rarely did, I couldn’t understand half of them anyway. They always sounded sincere, and it was rock and roll, whatever they were singing about was probably OK, I reasoned. Oops.
Considering how many girls and women worked to get a fat bottom because of certain singers and reality whores like Kardashian, I find this extremely amusing, no, outright laughable!
Freddie Mercury is rolling over in his grave...
"Ibrahim, Ibrahim, Ibrahim
Allah, Allah, Allah
we pray for you ... hey!
Mustapha, Mustapha
Mustapha Ibrahim
Mustapha, Mustapha
Mustapha Ibrahim"
I’ve read all of Harlan Coben’s Myron Bolitar series. Liked them.
So I see that Amazon Prime is now producing a tv series from his Micky Bolitar series (also good). Well, imagine my reaction to see that the character, a New Jersey Jewish kid, is now black. Really? How about a Harlem gang leader wearing a yarmulke?
A disappointment. The Harlen Coben stuff done by Netflix has been very good. I think the author had a lot of creative control. Don’t know what happened with Amazon. So disappointing, they just to want to ruin everything.
It’s just as well ...
The rockin’ world stopped goin’ ‘round twenty years ago ...
These lyrics to me are objectionable, as they celebrate child molestation:
Hey, I was just a skinny lad
Never knew no good from bad
But I knew life before
I left my nursery, huh
Left alone with big fat Fanny
She was such a naughty nanny
Hey, big woman
You made a bad boy out of me
Hey, hey, woo!
LOL-
1- the song sucks
2- in this day and age of celebrating fat chicks, you’d think they’d applaud the song
3- I was at the Queen concert at Madison Square Garden when Mercury sang, “Get on your bikes and ride!!!” and about a dozen topless chicks rode out onto the stage on bicycles. I was about 16YO at the time, sitting in the 8th row and loving life at that moment
Read my post- #57. That was even better!!!
Same here. The world has gone insane.. 🙄
I love fat bottom girls.
