Eric Roberts is the most hardworking, famous actor in Hollywood who you might not have heard of… but you’ve definitely seen him.
That’s because he’s starred in approximately 667 movies and TV series – and has 77 upcoming (although that figure is sure to have changed by the time of publication).
You may know him as the older brother of Pretty Woman icon Julia Roberts and the dad of horror scream queen and rom-com darling Emma Roberts, but this is one accomplished actor who deserves to be known in his own right.
This year alone, Roberts, 67, has appeared in 40 projects – including 10 episodes of one show – and the golden rays of summer have not even faded.

I picked up a cute Brahmin bag at a yard sale for $5. No signs of wear at all. I used that bag every day for about 5 years and it still looks good. Made in the USA.
i like him better than Julia.
My wifes daughter is in college and loves to thrift shop, she makes good money finding gems and selling them on the internet. I do not know the brand but she found one a couple of years ago she bought for $7 and sold for $100. She looks mostly for dresses and outfits from the 1960s.
i shop thrift all the time. nothing wrong with saving $$.
I have seen him in countless movies.
Last time I saw a mouth like Julia’s it had a hook in it.
Another man who now looks like an old lesbian.
“Normally when you get clothing like that they also hand you a pamphlet about Jesus.” - Joan Rivers
no kidding! I never got the appeal.
“Just watched him in “Runaway Train” with Jon Voight.”
Manny shoulda got him some shoes.
Yep, still has great hair but looks terrible. But, who looks great at 87? Too bad he was, and is still, such a radical leftie.
You are spot on about serving dishes! Also, pie plates, lasagna dishes, any kind of glassware. Picture frames, too.
I love thrift stores. I would rather give something a second life than have it in a landfill, especially if it’s a good, quality peice and I have a need.
I get why you don’t shop at Good Will. We did out of necessity and now out of habit.
I can tell that more people are hurting financially because there is a lot less on the shelves/racks and more shoppers than just a few years ago. It was the same during Obama’s first term. I call it the Good Will effect.
Brahmins are the only bags I buy. Like good linens or furniture, they last and look great for years.
Kudos on your find!
Same here. I can bring home a treasure for $5.
I’m happy with my find and hubby is not clutching his chest or wallet.
Well done you! My best snags at GoodWill have been a Vera Bradley bag for $8, a pair of never-worn black suede Clarks shoes for $10, and a white wooden bathroom cabinet for $4.
As of yet...
LOL!!
I miss Joan. She was a brilliantly intelligent woman and luckily for us, she shared her wit. A Celebrity Apprentice winner, she would have been a great supporter for DJT.
Agree! Always wondered why no one ever cast him and Brad Pitt as father and son. Maybe Brad didn't want to be compared -- Bob has better-looking nose!
Sweet! Excellent treasure hunting skills.
Once we recovered financially, I just couldn’t break the habit. If I need something, I go to the thrift stores first.
The amount of money you will save over the years is substantial. Keep it up!
Cary Grant, Sean Connery were not too bad.
Totally agree—thrift stores are a gigantic blessing to any of us, self included, with financial ups & downs. But as you indicated, “you have to kiss a lot of frogs to find a prince” in terms of fit, fabric and condition.
Presumably, he can afford to look better, even if his taste is funky. His red suit looks new, or perhaps it belonged to a rock’n’roller first, but fits him terribly badly, especially the crotch. The shirt is awful. His posture is whacking the shoulders out of fit. shudder
As Dolly Parton says, “It costs a lot of money to look this cheap.” Tailoring a funky find is worth the price. Kim Kardashian, for instance, has a seamstress to alter her jeans because of her disproportionately large behind and small waist. It's inconceivable that any ready-mades would ever fit that cartoon booty.
