And Ford is building a mega plant here in TN specifically for electric trucks. I can’t see how that will be successful. But maybe.
The guy who preached at church in Sunday mentioned it. He said something like, “Of course, nobody here in Tennessee will be buying those things, but they’ll be shipped to California and New York.” That got a laugh.
He’s from Manitoba, so the price is likely Canadian dollars. It would be ‘only’ $86k US.
I believe I saw a reference to him owning a trucking company!
But think of the warm fuzzies he gets while waiting in line at Starbucks.
“Every three hours requiring a stop for two hours to recharge is no way to take a vacation.”
Long trips are not a good idea with an EV. Around town might be cost effective.
I think EVs are fun to drive and anyone that buys a new car is not prioritizing cost effectiveness. I’ve bought new cars. It’s fun.
First mistake was living in Winnipeg for any length of time.
Second was buying an EV where the batteries start working poorly in cold Winnipeg.
Well at least The Blue Bombers are a fun CFL team to watch.
See tag. ‘nuff said.
Feeling, “blown away” yet?
Nuclear powered EVs might work.
Only about a 700 mile trip. That would be no problem for my 10 year old Toyota, but the real question is why anyone in their right mind would go to Chicago?
This is a lesson that needs to be learned the hard way—one family at a time...
Lol.
Yeah.. The guy who bought a lightning and reviewed it on youtube found out what piece of junk it is. Very low tow mileage. The range display kept downgrading the entire ways. would not charge in the cold. Sold it when it was no more than a year old only to find out the battery pack was shot from the dealer who purchased it.
You’ve made your grand virtue signal. Enjoy.

Perfect! Absolutely perfect.
Actually, EV stands for electric vehicle. Don't expect some blogger to know the difference, though.
