Mass vaccinations will soon be required to deal with the effects of climate change including the threat of diseases spread by mosquitoes migrating to new regions, according to Bill Gate’s World Health Organization.
Dr. Maria Van Kerkhove, the WHO’s technical lead for COVID-19, made the disturbing comments at a recent press conference while sitting next to WHO chief Tedros Ghebreyesus.
“A lot of this is also about other uses of tools that exist,” she said, “in instances where we have interventions like medical interventions, therapeutics or vaccines depending on the pathogen.”
“We need to be able to prepare for that.”
Van Kerkhove further said that countries need to “look at how the changes in climate change and the dynamics of spillover and amplification are changing — and prepare for that.”
As for Ghebreyesus, he said that COVID-19 is no longer an emergency but its risk is still high. He also complained that many countries are no longer reporting their COVID data to the WHO.
In the past month, only 25% of countries and territories have reported COVID-19 deaths to the WHO, according to Ghebreyesus.
“And only 11% have reported hospitalizations and ICU admissions,” he said.

They did it in Newark NJ in the 50's near the larger parks.
I doubt they do the fogging anywhere. However, in Massachusetts, mosquito control does toss pellets of bacteria thuringiensis into ponds and wet areas.

Around here, they use small planes to spray mosquitoes when West Nile is detected, but I’m not in Florida. I don’t know if they still use trucks in some areas. Could be.
Yes, lots of mosquito-borne diseases. Lots. We wiped out malaria here with DDT back when My grandfather got malaria in middle Tennessee back in the 1930s. Seems strange to us today, but it used to be here. Flood control (TVA dams) and DDT did away with it.
I suspect the small recent outbreaks of malaria and zika in the US were brought to us by migrants. Both are endemic in Central and South America. Migrants with these diseases come here, mozzies bite them, then bite others ... and it spreads. But it looks like we’ve done a pretty good job of containing it.
But would it not be better (and cheaper) to only allow legal immigrants into our country? Legal immigrants have to undergo health checks (as well as criminal background checks, etc.).

The fact that Gates invoked a scientifically laughable reason (climate change), which is strongly refuted by those who chose to remain in their studies instead of building cheap assed virus vulnerable software should serve as a prime example refuting his silly science-illiterate statement.
