Have you seen or talked to any covid "bitter clingers" in 2023, just throwing the Obama phrase right back at them.
I still see a few people wearing masks alone in the car and in the supermarket
I still see a few maskers around. I don’t have anything to do with anyone who still buys the COVID nonsense, though.
I still see people wearing nose diapers. I never talk to them. I think it’s ridiculous myself but it doesn’t bother me. The only advantage to it is for people who sneeze or cough and don’t cover their mouth. They definitely need to wear one.
Where I live, it was common to see people wearing masks years before Covid; we have large immigrant populations, including many Asians.
We do see some Black people still wearing masks, but it’s rare now to see White Americans with them on.

I do too. But who knows? Maybe they have COPD or some other serious breathing disease, and are not willing to take any chances. Can’t really blame them.
What really bothered me was those maskers who would stop and preach to us non-maskers. That behavior has faded away completely.
Side story: That preaching only happened to me once. But I did not lose my temper. I calmly and politely responded to her attempt to “educate” me. I said everything in Hungarian.
The nice lady seemed confused, and she walked away.
I nominate DugwayDuke, though I think vaxing and masking should be a personal choice as long as all information is available.
I typically see a few maskers when I go shopping here in Pensacola, but most people don’t wear them.
“I still see a few people wearing masks alone in the car and in the supermarket”
Yep. Same here.
Curiously, the mask wearing drivers are often in EV cars.
I still see occasional maskers.
Saw one in a car driving erratically the other day. Talking on her phone and mask pulled down over her chin. Sometimes you can’t fix stupid.
yep, i still see Masked up folk at walmart.
One lady had a mask, a visor, and blue latex gloves on.
Bananas.
I still see a few in church every week. Driving to work earier this week I even saw one walking down the sidewalk. Completely alone, outdoors, mask on!
I notice they tend to be younger folks. I assume that they’re woke virtue-signalers. The old folks seem to have had enough and generally don’t wear them.
I live in Washington State. There’s many!!! Young, old every race although Asians seem to be the most common.
Covid “bitter clingers”. Excellent!
My sister in law is still terrified of COVID and almost never ventures outside the house. Unfortunately, she keeps my Mother In Law inside as well.
She hasn’t been to church since the “pandemic” started. She won’t go to the grocery store or the pharmacy. Everything gets delivered. She reportedly wears a mask in the house.
Was just at a convention with probably 3.5K in Ft. Worth. I saw ONE masked lady. She might have been ill.
Even the hotel employees didn’t have masks!!!! That was a first for me as usually some front desk folks and some of the housekeeping are wearing masks.
At 105 degrees, most germs might be near lifeless, haaa!
That is exactly what I see. Older Asians, black women and the oddball Karen and Chad.
The only people I see still clinging are a few old people, and younger people, like 18-25. The old, I can understand. But the young? SMH. Just lost. They are the same ones that I have witnessed talking about “climate catastrophe” and “existential climate emergencies”.
Or are in the last stages of COVID where they need not quarantine, but are encouraged to mask if going out. Some people believe the masks actually make a difference.
In this area (N CT) the few maskers I see are very old and usually frail.
They think they are going to live forever.
;-)
My son went through DFW the other day and said he saw plenty of masks.
