Q has reminded us repeatedly that together, we are strong. As the false "narrative" is destroyed and the divisive machinery put in place by the Deep State fails, the fact that patriotism has no skin color or political party is exposed for all to see.
In the battle between those who strip us our constitutional rights, we can't afford to let false divisions separate us any longer. We, and our country, will be forever made stronger by diligently seeking the truth, independence and freedom of thought.

Maui is run by corrupt incompetents. The police chief doesn’t really have a say in disaster response, other Maui county officials do. Who were OFF THE ISLAND when the hurricane force winds were forecast. Whether police chiefs are appointed or hired or whatever, I don’t know. They must have a county sheriff, I would assume, maybe I’ll check. Sheriffs are always voted afaik.

I read your post, "People are posting about fires who know nothing about fires," and wanted to point out that some use their advanced knowledge and experience as firefighters to reach the conclusion that the Paradise fires were not natural.

The average firefighter is not trained in how fires start; Fire Marshals are. Specialized training above and beyond most firefighters; in our local Fire Department there is one Fire Marshal, who inspects fires during and after the fact to find the point of ignition, checks for chemicals residue, takes into account win direction at the time, and a lot more.
So, in short, even a very good firefighter is not trained in, nor do they attempt to determine, causes of fires. Of course many are obvious, a candle falling and starting a curtain on fire, etc. Wild fires aren’t necessarily so easy.

I think we have a few people that have seen and dealt with wildfires - I watched one nearby a few years back, the same year that the Chalet Village went up in flames in Gatlinburg. The one I saw was on the mountainside and burned for a couple of weeks. Lots of smoke in the air, and I used numerous HEPA air filters during that time frame. They fought it with helicopters that scooped water out of the river nearby and poured it on the fire. I don’t have details about other techniques used, but I will say that it was exceptionally dry - severe drought conditions.
Likewise, LJ’s hubby has worked wildfires out west. Which apparently are a lot more common than I realized. Anyway, he’s seen burn patterns as well.
We also have a government that is decidedly doing all it can to destroy the country. Arson, by whatever means available, is not out of the question. Any disaster should be investigated outside of the government, as they cannot be trusted.
I continue to collect information.

ransomnote: I think you are referring to a fire investigator, but note that firefighters may also determine the cause of a fire themselves. The firefighters in Hawaii no doubt know how those at the Paradise fire, who stated on camera that the fire was not natural, were likely (mis)treated so it's not likely any risk an opinion outside the narrative in Hawaii, if this was DEW. There's no way our corrupt government is going to let any of its employees say what they think, professionally (e.g, Covid), particularly if they are burning people and homes to give billions to Deep State purposes. It's early yet - I'm open to information, but I think DEW is plausible.
I think it's relevant if firefighters and the most experienced among them, the firechief, say that in their entire careers they've never seen the result of a fire resemble the Paradise fire. I think it's worth noting they'd never had a massive fire burn hot and through and out before they arrive, as in the Paradise fire.
Sidenote: I thought I recall, years ago, reading that Rothschild's had stake in HI power companies. Does anyone else remember that? When I searched, I found images associating HI energy with Rothschilds, but no text. Odd.
