Is this a slip of the tongue suggesting that he has such an emergency declaration in the works waiting for the correct moment to spring it on the country?

As I recall Ellison already bought Lanai. And Zuckerberg already has a big chunk of the east side of Kauai and is trying to buy more. As soon as Amfac and Dole are ready to deal some of the folks you mention will be there, I expect. Not sure if Bishop Estate holds anything on Maui but if they do they’ll be selling too.

She called me today; she’s good friends with the former mayor of Maui, he served many terms, a good guy. IF there was fishy stuff, he would know about it. There are now many homeless people. Many children were at home as school was called off, but many parents were working. It is feared many children died in the fire while their parents were gone.

WASHINGTON — FEMA, in coordination with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), will conduct a nationwide test of the Emergency Alert System (EAS) and Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEA) this fall.
