It is becoming obvious to 'me' that abortion is the one thing that is making elections these days. I think this wedge issue may in fact be the one issue that will keep Trump or the GOP nominee out of office.
Is there enough support on the right to bend one the issue?
What happened in 2020 wasn’t fair. But now Trump is damaged goods.
I agree. I would also throw in another issue, public education.
Since we are expected to abandon the federal legislation regarding abortion, and allow states to decide, then public education should be stripped of federal jurisdiction as well and power given to the local representatives.
“But now Trump is damaged goods.”
ah.....and now we get to your core issue....
so who do we get to replace Trump with? Desantis? even with the full backing of the establishment he has imploded. Control, alt and delete will not reboot his campaign.
next in line since you seem to Advocate for moderates....
shall we nominate another set of candidates such as Dole? McStain? McRomney?
Why didn’t they get elected? Trump wasn’t part of the equasion.
A number of years ago, I was at the zoo in Dallas. Couple of school buses pulled in loaded down with Ecuadorian school kids with Ecuadorian school teachers all wearing “Ecuador!” T-shirts. U.S. Taxpayer sponsored proud Ecuadorians.
Maybe compromise on gun control instead? After all, 70% of Americans think we need stronger gun control. Only the extremists want n compromise on the second amendment.
obeying Molech is not an option. Full stop.
America, like Rome in the fifth century or Babylon in 540 BC or Jerusalem to Babylon in 586 BC will fall if it bows the knee to paganism.
The mercy of God will not be extended forever. The people of God must not turn a blind eye to the murder of innocent babies.
As a believer in Jesus Christ, there is no compromise.
God over country. I don’t care what happens to this country, I will not go against God.
I am saying “Don’t get sucked into a losing argument.”
Abortion, in most states, is a losing proposition for the GOP.
We should “Take the win. Work at the state. Keep it out of the Federal election.”
That’s because the left treats abortion AS birth control.
It’s the slippery slope.
Compromising to appease the democrats is NEVER a *win*.
It’s a capitulation and always a loss.
Enjoy losing then. You can do it with your head high.
Opus?
Opus?
:)
Strategy? How about Safe, Legal and Rare?
The point should be made over the Fact that Virginia, California and Rhode Island passed laws even allowing after birth abortions.
That would be those who capitulate to the left thinking that they are gaining something by giving in to them.
I keep seeing more and more evidence that the young generations in this country hate conservative values.
Even young evangelicals support LGBTQRSTUV. And now Trump is talking about compromise with Satan on abortion? I don’t like that from him.
You seem to like to read liberal sources.
