When we had our cabin in the sierras, I went to a campfire talk that said what to do if you encounter either type of bear or a mountain lion. With a black bear it was look big and make noise, with a Grizzly it was play dead. I can’t remember what it was with the mountain lion.
It was a little bit after I encountered my first black bear in the woods, couldn’t remember what to do. He stared at me, he couldn’t remember either. Finally I remembered so I raised my arms over my head, and he took off.
Two months is okay with me!
