I was bullied by a girl in middle school because a guy she liked liked me. Every time she walked by me she would trip me or slam me against the wall.
Anyway, I told one of my friends who was a very large and tall girl and she was livid about it. Next thing I heard that after recess, she had that girl pinned against the gym wall, towered over her about a foot and told her to back off or she would beat the crud out of her. She never bothered me again!

I know stress is a terrible thing and can affect everything.
It is a fact that what we once were able to do now takes us days to recuperate from even when it was fun.
You need to rest, unless it is absolutely necessary what chores you have can wait a few days.
I have texted with my granddaughter and will be talking to her in the next couple of days when she is best able to talk about it, she needed some time.
She has 3 little ones, ages 5, 4, and 3.
Those little ones need their mom!
I watch a lot of TV, so I’ve seen it happen that the custodial parent and family will tell lies about the other parent and turn the children against her/him. Those little ones will believe anything they’re told. I hope that doesn’t happen. I’m not trying to stress you out more, sorry.

It is not surprising that many of us went through some sort of bullying as we grew up. It isn’t right, but it does seem to be something we have to learn to handle. I’m glad you had a friend who stuck up for you.
